Mine idles just below 1000 rpm when it gets warmed up. When the motor is cold it jumps to 1500 rpm and then eventually it goes down to 1K in about 5 minutes.

Hey GSG,If your in Clewiston, then come to the autocross. We're about 1 hour from there. JK. Clewiston is a nice town. I have been looking out there for some property on the water. Kind of a family get away thing. I've also been looking at Sebring.
Everyone have fun this weekend and stay out of trouble.
Scooter, I got your phone number programmed in my phone, so I'll call if anything exciting happens.
Later all.
Has that happened since you got the car?
or has it been since you did the grounding kit?
I dont know that anything with the grounding kit would have done anything unless your causing a short somewhere in the engine compartment.
Have you mess with the BIS screw which adjust the idle?
on the dsms it was called a bis anyway.

BISS
The is one of the VFAQs for the dsm's but it should be the same....
Anyway I would first take the car to the dealer to fnid out why it is idling high. If not then I would get your manual out and try adjusting this screw.
Dont move it too much in either direction since this is for fine tuning your idle.

By the way my car acted kind of stupid after we changed the ground wire...but i'm almost certain it was the MAS getting used to my giant intake after we reset the ECU...i've heard that this might happen...after ten to 15 minutes it quit acting like a little ***** and now it's fine....see you guy sunday...later
Hey now...the term "Hialeah Scientist" is not meant to be in any way derogatory...please refrain from using it as such....lol....
Hey now.......lol as we all know it was just a joke.
any way good moring to you all ...its 6.45 am i am sitting in my office trying to get evolved.
about the idle....dbl check all the connections before you do any adjusting...a bad ground or faulty wire will cause idle to do that.
well hope you all have a good day!
chris and mike .....good luck in ft myers(nationals)
well talk to you all later
