Worked late on the car getting ready and loaded up. Let's see if I forgot anything???? Nope, I'll have to get there to remember what I forgot (One of those Murphy's Law things)

Here is a picture of the car in "Battle Dress". I wanted to try my digital camera and see if I can get the right file to upload.

Thanx for the help! I think it needed a good run (like I did last night, turbo worked over time)! She idled fine this morning I think it was just like Scooter saidto let it get use to the grounding kit! (Forget that cars are like ppl they react differently to different situations!) It was idling at just below 1000rpm. We will see what happens! Thanx for all the insight guys!

Everyone ready for Sunday? Remember to bring your own food! I know Moroso the food is not that great and the price is sux for what they serve! Are we going to eat dinner over there?? We can scare the ppl out of the restaurant!!!

I'm not looking to take anyone's job LOL. I just needed the practice, plus I can post up some pics from the event.

I got a question. Are the front fenders aluminum? My magnetics will not stick, just slid off. I know the hood is Aluminum, but are the fenders as well?

I've got all the stuff that you mentioned, except the wife. She's a little itimidated by the National Events, so she's going to take a pass.

 

Could be some manufactures put fiberglass on top of it so it looks like the rest of the car and allows the crush zones to work in predictable ways! I know honda are like that! Plus, it is cheaper to do it that way and paint sticks to fiber glass better than aluminum! Rememeber, paint is electrically charged to stick, like a skin, on to the car (yes even fiberglass, thats not a good conductor can be electrified) !

and yes chris the hood and front fenders are the same lightweight aluminum.

Seriously, it looks good Chris, A lot better than my chalk painted windows. Looks a little dark though, you may want to brighten the picure a bit.

thats not funny....
just kidding with you.

guess what i found last week....for sale...03 evo 8 with 3000 mls on it for 6 grnd....no kidding 6 grand

but.....yes of course there is a but.

its been submerged in a canal....lol
was submerged more than 50% so therefore by law thats considered a total.
oh well...like i said our evo are rare....slowly one by one they will become rare.
