Well today blows. For the past 7 years I've been working for my dad's company from my home. I was a "kitter" where I would put parts in a bag, label it, seal it, and send it off. It has been my only source of income for 7 years. There was no talk of me ever going away... well.

I got laid off today. So needless to say I am now broke. I am so screwed. Anyone's work hiring? I was making between $25-35K a year depending on how many kits I did. I still gotta pay for my car (to my parents who luckily love me oh so much, so they aren't gonna ask me for payments just yet) and so I am trying to find a job that will pay for that for now. Until I find something I actually enjoy. Anyway, anything in Kendall would be great. Part-time. Thanks in advance if you know anything.



Oh and just for the record: I never messed up once. Not once in 7 years. They are just greedy @ssholes. They will get what they deserve eventually.

 

Well that's a bit rude. But let me explain...

I KNOW Al (Dynoflash). I also KNOW he's an a-hole lawyer with basic tuning skills that is a real good salesman.

I KNOW Jester, Good tuner, has been tuning DSMs and the 4g63 for years. Plus he's a computer programer so he knows how to get code to work smoothly. I also KNOW he's a really nice guy and will go to the wall for his customers.

I DON'T KNOW who Lance is. He may be good or bad but the simple fact is I don't know who he is or any of his credentials. So I am not going to trust my $23,000 (depreciation) car to someone I KNOW nothing about. (Yes, I know. You are about to tell me how you are amazed I have an Evo and didn't know of Lance's existence. Well, until I got my Evo I didn't know of any of their existences.)

Now if you would tell me about "Lance" and why I should trust him then maybe you could get more customers for your flash session. And have you ever stopped to consider that maybe you are the one on Lance's nuts?

Lance is from Toyomoto.....if you dont know that then I will explain. He worked on some of the fastest Supras, IS300s, Evos, STi's, Scions, and other cars. He is known from the US to the Caribbean. He was in the drag racing scene for many years with the 9 second civic he had, but there are just a few things that I need to mention. I am sorry you havent heard of Lance. Now you have. If you know the motorsports scene, then you would know Lance and know that he is probably one of the best AEM tuners out there. This is the only guy I trust at all on my car. Dont get me wrong, I have seen Jester at work, and have heard stories about Al and Sean and everyone else out there, but I have had Lance tune my other car and has not ever blown. Plus I have many other people in the same boat as me.

Now explain to me how I am on Lance's nuts because where in this thread did I say that anyone is wasting money by going with anyone else besides him? Oh, but wait, since he is the only one that tunes my car, I must be on his nuts? i dont get it....
