Guys if i drive the evo lets say 40-50 miles a day and 90% of that on the highway. Would u guys recomend driving the evo and having extra cash for more goodies later on. Or getting a daily and savings lots on gas and slowly but shortly build the evo????????
Thinking if evo is my daily once i put cams and meth...well is not a great daily pocket wise.

My fuel economy increaed with cams and meth, although there's more of a tendency of a heavy foot, which will reduce fuel economy.

I had a custom dynoflash tune with tbe, mbc, and filter. I then added the cams only and was retuned, and saw an increase in 1-2 mpg. I then added everyting else and was retuned again, maybe 0.5 increase mpg, for sure no decrease.
hey with your mod list and the 20g what are u putting down?????

On the buscher dyno which reads real low, I got 370. Which at the time they said was as much as anyone with similar mods. They compared it with another local dyno and found a 18% varience. So on a average dyno I would say I'm around 430whp.
My 1/4 coincides, on a full tank of gas, junk in the trunk, all season tires, and inexperinced driver (2nd of two lifetime drags) I got a 11.7 @ 118.

Hello TEMEVO...new to the forums. I have probably seen a few of you at the local autocrosses. I used to drive a silver WRX in ESP and recently in SM. I have definitely seen DR MR out there and spoken with him. Looking forward to some light modding on the Evo and then learning to tune with EcuFlash (I also used OpenEcu on the WRX). If anyone would like to lend a hand, I sure would appreciate it.

jk. about tuning i would suggest to try jestr or whoever u like and knows about evos, would not suggest to do on ur own until u get to know the car better
Well he must have lived in far N Kendall cos it takes me 45 mins to get to Aventura Mall. And I don't mind driving there, but it would be nice to have a break every couple weeks, which is what you got with going to Dolphin for 2 weekends and then Aventura the 3rd. All Im sayin.
