-for the tephra patch, you still need the JDM map and the GM3port... (i think) but man if only i wouldve known before, my setup right know would be sick..

 

You don't need the Map sensor, that's only for additional boost control. The JackofTrades harness + mac valve + DDS3/Labonte/Zeitronix is pretty solid failsafe combo.

 

All I know is I have a failsafe.

i am still a lil confused about jamie's harness and the macvalve tho... if the failsafe is activated: macvalve will bypass mbc and allow you only to boost wastgate psi, but what would you need the harness for then? to change maps? but it would change to the same exact map just with different boost

I know that failsafe works because it went to wastegate psi when there was a tuning problem.
