BTW I was playing with the Scanguage2 that some of you saw this weekend and some of the trip computer functionas are really nice.... I managed to get 27.5 MPG on the trip into work today in the Evo. That's mixed city/highway driving. Very Cool! I have to go outside later and write down all the other cool stuff and start posting some of it.

No once they are applied, they stay until the next calendar year.. Traffic school is for the initial violation.. You have three options to take care of a ticket..
1. Pay it, points will be assesed because it's basically saying you're guilty.
2. Traffic school, no points and lesser fine, basically pleading no contest to it.
3. Take it to court and see what happens.. Will the cop show? Will the judge see it your way?
But once points are on your license, they stay until the next year.. Don't get 12, or say goodbye to the license..

Cop pulls me over and says I was doing 80 in a 40 and he can take me to jail for going double the speed limit. Then he says i'll cut you a break and give you a ticket for 60. Complete BS.
