Scooter: After my first tattoo that got infected I made sure to check out thoroughly any other place I decided to go. This place is top notch on cleanliness and sterilizing stuff. Wouldn't trust anyone else. Hell I coulda gotten it done anywhere 3 weeks ago, but I specifically waited for Bison to get the jewelry to get it done.
[Jumps on soapbox]
I think there has been a slight lack of communication here...
I didn't exactly get "an Infection". The doctor came in after running my blood tests several times and told me I had a 30% chance of seeing my 45th birthday and if the chemo didn't work (70% chance) the last 2 or 3 years of my life would be excruciatingly painful. (I'm 43 now)
The Chemo itself was worse as Interferon and Ribavirin have some interesting side effects. During the testing phase in a controlled environment with guards and 24 hour staff watching the patients, 2 out of the 50 test subjects managed to commit suicide due to extreme depression. One was actually a murder/suicide. Doctors were very wary about putting anyone on this medication.
This was about 6+ years ago. (There are different meds available today) The Evo was my survival present to myself. Simple fact is I don't trust anybody and I certainly won't trust any "open wound" in this "tropical environment". Not and face the prospect of another bout of chemo. BTW I never lost my hair though it did thin out a bit.
You will of course do what you want, but in my humble opinion a pretty girl like you does not need any embellisments past a minimum amount of makeup (Sorry, Mom was a district manager for Avon. According to her all women NEED makeup.) It just seems to me like a high risk for some bling. As for women with piercings... they could not turn me on even if they looked like the entire cast of Deal or No Deal rolled up into one woman.
Same thing goes for tattoos. I don't see the need to take that kind of risk. I can certainly admire the artistry in them but there's just too much risk for my tastes.
[Scooter jumps off soapbox and smashes it to bits promising never to touch this subject again.]
Scooter: nice video

But despite that I still had fun. See you next Sunday same time.
I'm still practicing with both the camera and the video software. If you have any tips I'll take them. Either way the video shots came out much better than the photos. All the flash shots ended up grainy and I had to photoshop them all and the non flash shots the colors were great but the people/karts were all fuzzy. I will need more memory cards for videos and then I'll edit at home from now on. The still on the people were awesome though... I love this camera... all over again.
