Ok I understand the tired feeling you must've been suffering from.. But let me remind you that I was up since 4pm the day before.. Worked all night, and managed to man-up to go.. It's not like there's an event every single weekend, or month for that matter.. Jeesh.. Young people.. Where's your dedication... Man that makes me sound old.. Or old fashioned...

Don't bother... We'll just keep it a tight little group of hardcore members and that way we don't have to deal with the bull anymore. I'm going to see if I can get the TEMEVO.ORG domain name and we'll just go on with a tight group. Too bad no one can get in touch with Kevin but he also fell off the face of the earth... and Red Devil too. Must be something about Red evos.

BTW: guys is not cuz Jeff is a good friend of mine or what not but he never said on stones he was going he just said IF I DECIDE TO GO. Would have been fun with more evos but I always say enjoy the ones that go and move on no need to put so much pressure or bash the ones who don't go. Why stress or cause them to stress, i've been in his position where I couldn't go and I felt like crap all on my own without you guys talking about me. If the teams keeps stressing every1 then more and more people will stop going cuz no1 cares 2 deal with a hard time. I would have loved to see more people there due to the fact that this was Derycks last trip with us but honestly I was happy with the ones that showed, so what if we didn't get a trophy we still had a great time.

#1 - I wasn't bashing Jeff for that at all. Whoever can make it can make it and that's it. In fact I was not bashing anyone at all on making or not making this trip. If I did bash him for something it was for not answering his phone when someone who is a "good friend" calls him and he just ignores you. But then that is NONE of my business so at this point I don't really care.

#2 - Many times we have had attendance problems from people that said they were definitely going. Again, If you can make it, fine. If not just say "Can't make it this time." and that is the end of it. On this particular occasion I wasn't expecting much since there was not a lot of talk about the show as Wayne so effectively pointed out at the last meet. On that point Jeff is a little weak. I remember a certain cake getting a name crossed off of it. Again, not my birthday and not my issue. But, his credibility is not getting any better.

#3 - I agree with the last statement you made. We went and we had fun. That is good enough for me. I too am tired of playing cheerleader and trying to get people to go to these events. As far as I'm concerned if half the people want to just disappear that's fine. Just say "Well guys it was fun but time to move on to a different stage of my life." I wish you the best of luck in your life and we part friends. I'm not planning on staying in Florida too much longer but while I am here I will try to have as much fun as possible. And when I leave I will miss you all but c'est la vie. And TEMEVO has an open invitation when I move up north to Mountain Country.

#4 - I am really sad to see you go because when I challenged you to take the reins on the Agi Birthday Kart meet you took the lead without complaint. You showed that you wanted to put in your fair share of effort into at least one event. And you saw that it was not easy but you didn't whine. Mad Props to you!

Evos are not grocery getters. They are extreme cars for extreme people. Personally I'm glad we are aso getting some new blood in the team and they might revitalize things a bit. But for people who have such amazing cars I find a certain lack of enthusiasm from a lot of people.

Maybe it is my point of view. In a way I think I share that with Jonasan. He's a cop. He deals with life and death every day and I see him in a different way than some of you. Every time he goes on one of these events no matter how bad he feels or how tired he is he enjoys it. It is a vacation from his other life. I am not, nor will I likely ever be a cop. But I have been on death's doorsteps more times that I care to have been. Plus the three years of chemo were not pleasant. Plus spend 3 years of your life with the doctor reminding you that you have less than 30% survival chance and you start to understand. (go look up Interferon and Ribavirin, not the new stuff but the original meds, nasty side effects.) That's why I may seem a little extreme at times, and that's why I like to have fun and enjoy life to it's fullest. That's why I try to never miss an event. Simple fact is I could be dead tomorrow.

Anyway, philosophy lesson is over today. I've got to get back to a ****load of work today
