With a IX and a custom tune you can get at least 20 HP and really smooth out the engine. I only had a TB exhaust and intake when I got mine but it made a great difference. Even Mileage went up from 13-14 MPG to 19-20 MPG in the city. That alone was worth it for me.

 

I think it is a misconception that the gauge gets stuck. It is a high-mass slow reactive probe designed to last a while at the cost of being too slow reacting to actually protect you from melting your motor.

The Zeitronix K-type thermocouple is low-mass high speed EGT sensor designed for lightning quick reponses leaving enough time to be proactive in getting off the throttle in case of a problem.

The industry joke is that the autometer gauge is still climbing while your car is getting pulled up onto the flatbed with a blown engine.

 

no my autometer used to get stuck, ZT not a prob once u turn the car on it give u a nice welcome haha then numbers show.
