ScooterWhy do they expect special treatment everywhere? Why do they keep expecting us to learn Spanish when everyone else here has to learn English?
I'll finish it here but this is the kind of issue that simmers and will eventually lead to violence (Not between us
) in this country.

um i don't know if u noticed but it's not just cubans. miami is full of hondurians, peruvians, nicaraguans, mexicans and those who don't care aren't learning english....not just cubans shoot in broward i know a fam of nicaraguans who are illegal here keep getting pregnant family of like 12 lives in a 2 bedroom home. Kids came when young and they didn't even care to speak english, just keep breading kids and pay no hospital bills
.
For instance, If I came out and asked the Cuban community to back the Haitian community, I would be laughed out of the room. Change must come from within. It is YOU and your generation of Cubans which must look at the big picture, see reality for what it is, and "overthrow" the Cuban "Old Guard" and tell them they are a bunch of "come mierdas". It can't come from someone named Janssens. It has to come from someone named Gonzalez, Llano, or Sanchez.
. I remember once i went to south miami bird road or something and went to mcdonald for some fries and the lady on the driverthru was speaking spanish i was like um fries um papas fritas
i don't get it? If i went to Brazil...i would expect most people i meet to speak Portuguese. So why doesn't it apply in Miami? Shouldn't I expect them to speak English? It's almost at the point where an ornament or tag should be worn "Green for Spanish" "Red for English" or visa versa
How do I **** someone off that assumes I speak Spanish? Do I point at an english dictionary? Union Jack? American Flag?...That would work wonderfully.
Have a great weekend guys and gals

Just what I was thinking...
All this talk about political stuff is raising the hair on my back.. That's why I practice no religion, have no political opinions.. I DO treat everyone fairly.. I give EVERYONE the chance, and give them the benefit of the doubt.. But once that point is breached, it's off to jail ya go.. I feel that I'm probably one of the most true and fair officers out on the roads today.. What's right is right, and what's wrong is wrong..
P.S. my favorite way of speaking spanish here is.. "speak English or go to jail".. They ALL suddenly start to speak english after that.. Hahahaha...
The world is made up of many different people.. So many different opinions and beliefs to judge any particular group.. Just judge the person..
Unfortunately Miami is the melting pot of the world.. Everything and everyone lives here.. That's why they say Miami is the rudest city in the U.S.

You do seem like a fair cop, after the isht you do on the streets in your evo, you better drive with that fair card in your pocket lol ...I would have never thought a cop would buy an evo and rape the streets like you do
I guess it's like the ghetto(or what others perceive the ghetto to be) you don't want trouble, you stay out of it. You avoid those areas, however, it's like the ghetto doesn't want the designated area they have populated...it's spilling over.
One of the main reasons people are in a rush to head north, that and the cost of living.
I know there is a sense of ignorance in my words, but you have to admit you have either experienced and can relate to what I'm talking about.

Down here the problem is everyone thinks they are ENTITLED to everything. That schiet don't cut it. Plus down here the American flag means very little. If you don't believe me look around and start counting flags on people's cars. The American flag is outnumbered INDIVIDUALLY by each the Cuban, Puerto Rican, Nicaraguan, Jamaican, Venezuelan, Colombian, etc. flags. They came here to get away from whatever ****hole they lived in but then they get here and complain about the U.S.
My wife worked at a security company when she first arrived here. All she heard all day long while she was there was how much everybody hated living here and wishing they were home again. Oh yeah and how cheap the American government was with their food stamps. How were you supposed to live well on that pittance. My wife's response was easy. GO BACK! The border patrol is not keeping you in, they are keeping other people out. You are free to go back whenever you want. That would shut them up for about ten minutes before they would start to ***** again.
Anyway I have to go fix my exhaust. It seems that when my synchros were replaced so were the exhaust hangers. It looks like mitsu put on rubber ones instead of the much higher quality Polyurethane ones that I had installed previously.
Wow, that's disgusting!!
To the first part, excuse the expression, that's a cop out. Right and wrong depend on someone's religious and political views. That's why the terrorists of this world think it is OK to send a 12 year old suicide bomber to kill civilians, Twisted religious beliefs. That said I try to treat people based on their actions and not their skin color, gender, religious beliefs etc. I'm not perfect and I screw up sometimes but I learn and try to do better.
Ana says the same thing... No english, no Food Stamps! Damn they learn fast!!
Amen! Oops, a religious statement.
I disagree on the melting pot comment. There are many other cities with a greater variety of cultures. New York would be a good example. They have less cultural stress there than we do here.

and nothing ells. The only people in my opinion that even have a right to ***** at all is the American Indian and they get treated worse than any other ethnic group in this country. We all took there land.
