The poor EVO.... I highly doubt that simply a truck hitting the rear whatever side caused his death..

 

Sounds like the impact with the tree caused his head to snap, similar to what happened to Dale Earnhardt. A seatbelt isn't going to do much for you in this case.

Sorry to hear about the loss of a fellow driver. This just re-enforces the fact that anything can happen at any time. The type of collision that was described is impossible to predict. All the wrong things must line up for it to be fatal. Unfortunately, they did in this case.

need some help with this ques? this is john's friend from orlando. i raced my friend with red evo almost same setup,he has a safc2 k&n drop in filter 1st gen dsm blow off boost hose unplugged. i have safc1 boost control. i stayed ahead of him up to 5th gear and right after that he pulls on me like nothing . so what's up with that.

Went to the car show today...it totally sucked...No Mitsu, subaru, lambo, ferrari, or anything really worth seeing...except for this baby....Ford Shelby Cobra....talk about sweet....oh yeah there was a Chevy car with a badass paint job...i have a picture i'm gonna post but the pic really doesnt do it justice...

Alright guys I need some advice from you South Fla people..

I live off the palmetto and bird... SR-826 & 40th ST... I need a body shop that will do a PERFECT job on painting:

SideSkirts/Front & Rear Lips/ Rear Bumper and Wing. I need a place that is not slow and lazy but will do it quick because i can't go for days without a car. Price is not as big an issue as TIME and QUALITY..... I have no idea where to go, someone point me to a good place they have been to where quality = first

 

The folks at the DSM club that I frequent really like "Mad Creations" the guy does a lot of custom work. I think he also did the paint on Designmanfx's evo (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong) He's down south so I don't know if that is convenient for you. I saw one of his jobs and it looked very clean.

Well, I nailed another STI today... We lined up at the light, when the green lit, he nailed it... We were hauling ***... Afterwards, I pulled him over and wrote him a ticket.. Have a nice day!!

By the way, I told him that if he was driving an EVO, I would've let him off... He didn't like that...

 

Undercover EVO, I can hear it now from the street racers... Don't mess with EVOs it might land you in jail
