TEMEVO/SFL
gauges.
what do you guys think of Omori gauges? I am lookin for the most stock looking gauges to place them on the center dash.
I read some post about them being nice and accurate then I read another post where the guy was says it was garbage...
I dont like the Defi's bc they are too big and i need the dumb module... even if I just wanted ONE Defi boost gauge

42 draft Designs make a nice 3 gauge din pod for 52mm gauges.
Im going to order that one and they also carry VDO gauges.
VDO gauges are very cheap.. I am assuming this is because they are mechanical and not accurated and just not good quality?

I had a VDO on my 1.8T worked fine.
I boost 28psi now...
Most boost only 22/23psi with standard bolt ons
what gauge do you know of that looks nice (not flashy) that goes [-30 +30]
Why not the defi gauge manual? I've been hearing good reviews on prosport gauges

21-23psi there is a difference if you modify your tune to reflect the new boost. (noticeable difference)

Everythings been solid since May no problems (Not going over 25 maybe spiked once or twice over) with Scott's tune some say its too aggressive other say its not i think is just right
people that run meth usually boost over 25 pounds as well if u put race gas and up the boost
I think u took my quote when it was meant to answer a question on gauges
but damn you are boosting 25 pounds with those mods yikes, good stuff but I wouldn't boost more than 22-23lbs ::makes not to self for when Scott tunes mine::
GM Temevo, another rainy fawking day

You can also look at Stewart Warner gauges. I have a mechanical one that reads to 40psi.

Also, I haven´t yet finished the tune on my car but I was spiking to 27psi on pump with a moderate increase in timing from stock. I only see 1-2 knock counts here and there, usually when spooling, but I understand it is somewhat common in the Evo world. I really need to take the time and finish the tune because I hate not being able to floor the car if I desire...I only give it 85-90% throttle.
My mods: Walbro, GM solenoid, Buschur catless TBE w/Magnaflow.
