quick question.
what holds the vortex generator? 3M tape? dont see any screws? mines about to fly off.

 

actually it clips in under your linings on the roof on both sides and then 3m tape in the center along the vg and there is a clip in the center by the antenna.if its on proper it wont fly off. ive gone 160mph and never lost it and that was with just being clipped in, no 3m tape

 

mines is starting to raddle when im going 80-90 on the driver's side
prob going to add 3M tape to that side

^ Take it off and redo it completely. Clean the area with alcohol first, it won't stick too well if its not clean. Had the same problem.

 

I'm on my 2nd VG. First one blew off at 90mph on the Tpike. WHen you take it off, put 3m tape on, not scotch or knock off tape, real 3M sticky as hell tape.

do you how the thickness of the tape?
i know they come in different sizes

 

I believe the width is about 1" ...also to make sure it's the real 3m it should have the red cover on it and the tape should be a dark gray.

 

I need to get new clips or something for the plastic thing that goes over the VG and ends at the trunk level. My right one keeps popping off and wont stay clipped down GRRRR.

Also I nearly died today =( manager was driving back from court and a 18 wheeler went into our lane. It was raining threw a bunch of water onto my managers car made the back of his car slide right over onto his tire. His backdoor/fender r totally done, all I saw was was the front grill of the 18 wheeler right at my face not a pretty view. THANK YOU GOD FOR FOR KEEPING US ALIVE.
