I picked up the Falken's in the 225 variety and they're every bit as good as the Advan's at half the cost. At autocrosses I saw no variance in times vs. common competitors. While the 245 is appealing and only a few bucks more, I opted for the 225 to keep turn in feel and rollover similar to stock, eventhough they are branded as a 225 the section width appears side-by-side to be the same as the 235 Advan.

On a side note, I just picked up 3 free model R178 17x8 Cobra wheels from a friend who stuffed his Cobra into the wall at Moroso. With 255/40 Victoracers they fit absolutely perfect and they're only $105-$115 a piece from Ford Dealers. I think I'm gonna run these on the street and throw some Kumhos or maybe those new dirty cheap Dunlops onto my stockers for autoX duty.

Chris, are you going to run that Ft. Meyers autoX the week before Bay Bottom?

Hey All,

I just got my autoweek and it has an EVO on the cover. I know I know. It's a choice that's tough.

As far as tires are concerned, I have a set of the Kumho MX's 235 40 17 in my shop. I got a set for tire testing for Kumho. I have Falkens on the car right now. They are good tires as well. Just depends on what you want.

Morning all. I was in Ft. Myers Sunday for some backwoods street drags and let me tell you I represented TemEvo well. My baby was dishing out the ownage.

My kill list, Sunday September 19th...
1) SRT-4. He claims it was stock but his buddy says he's not. I saw him fiddling with something under the hood while I was waiting for him at the starting line.

2) Some bohemeth of a truck that was all wheel drive.

3) Acura NSX.
