Yeah I'm up Morehead City way. Stock IX, EB, never in any accidents. I hang out in Wilmington from time to time since my girlfriend just took a job there. All the Evo guys I've seen there so far look like a bunch of squids who'd rather fight than talk about cars. Just my impressions from seeing them in public doing random acts of asshattery. I'd love to meet some people that don't fit that mold.

 

im usually at 8 ***** on wed nights as well. but i dont hang out outside. there is much better things inside, like the steak and cheese and the pool talbes. if you want to find me on wedensday night dont look in the parking lot...

Yeah, I've seen your car there a bunch of times. I don't really go searching cause usually if someone is there to hang out, then they will join the group. Otherwise, they probably aren't looking to hang out outside. In either case, I'm not a huge pool person. I don't drink either, so 8 ball's has never really appealed to me.

It has atleast a semi-good sized parking lot to meet up. The dumbsh*t has seemed to go down a little bit but it still happens. Maybe that's why it's not everyone's scene.

Although, my g/f is inviting her sherriff friend (who has a Lancer) to this wednesday's get together. Hopefully that will bring the stupidity even further down.

Well, if you are in Jville on wednesday, you are more than welcome to come. I don't see too much fighting other than when people try to do burnouts and retarded stuff. Then naturally the group gets kind of mad because it's getting harder and harder to find places to just hang out and shoot the breeze and talk about cars and current events.

A lot of people here seem to think Evo's are SUPER fast. It's kind of funny the noteriety Evo's bring, but it ends up coming with some high expectations. So, i've been called out a few times myself.

Other than that I actually enjoy hanging out there on wednesdays. A lot of cool grounded people once you get to know them!!

Any reason for me to get together with other enthusiasts and talk shop is fine by me!!! PM me if you're interested!!!

I might need to try and come out and chill a bit with y'all. My last day of classes is Sunday (Online Classes) so I will be free until like January 7th or something like that. My ar is still busted though. Have not been to check on any body shops and have not gotten too much help finding one. I'm sure some of you have seen me on 17 going to work, western and 24 going home, or Seen my car out front on Piney Green. Does anyone know of any other body shops other than HP Imports and Crom's? I need a little bit of work done, but the main things are CF hood, new front bumper, removing my OZ wing for a fiberglass VIII wing (unless someone has one that they do not want) and entire car paint job(except for the hood) I almost got lucky when we lived in Raleigh, there was a guy with an EB VIII that was gonna swap his wing for my OZ spoiler, but a dump truck rear ended him on US-1 and that should give you an indication of my luck. I've hung out with a few INC people, a few came over for my birthday on Halloween and we replaced my spark plugs and wires, brakes rotors and pads, but it was only like 4 people, but that was 4 more than I knew and met when we moved back here again. Don't mean to ramble, but I have not been in here for a while with school and work and my little girl!!! I'll leave y'all alone now though until next time.

 

yea the body shop to go to is color pros. hes a close friend of mine and does awesome work. his shop is over by ellis airport. ill pm you his name and number....

 

If I was going to go anywhere, I would go to Auto Works.

They've done my brother's WRX: rebuild front from an accident, and new rear from a parking lot hit

His Impreza: realigning the fenders and the front, so his version 4 bumper and CF hood would look straight.

His Evo: Grey JDM IX bumper, modified the stock mounting braket to make it all fit. Color match looked great.

Their customer service has been very good as well. My brother wasn't happy witha couple things they did at first, so they immediately took the cars back in and redid it the way he liked it.
