Damn it's been hard to meet some of you in the area. I didn't head out to Coastal Plains this weekend, I had other obligations.

 

Do you know where ESCRacing is on Lejeune Blvd? If no one but NEO (GAY) is out around 8 ball's (on western) on Wed nigh, that is where we are. Sometimes on Sat too.

 

Cool. I've never been one to just "Roll up" to a place like 8Ball's by myself without knowing anyone there. I did not know that ESCRacing even existed though. The only shop I knew was in Jacksonville is that HPImports shop (or whatever). I stopped in there once a few years ago. I left with the impression that I had just been surrounded by douche bags...

 

As long as you own an Evo, your good!! Well, you can own any car and you would still be fine, but Evo owners gotta stick together... especially when you are in a place where they dont really meet up.

If you are ever in this area, we can chill and get some pics. I take some decent pics (check the show and shine section) and some of the people from Wednesdays show up so you can meet them. Then you woudnt feel like a stranger. I want to have a Gears of War party, but not many people around here play it!!!



I havent been to HP Imports myself, but my brother (Scoobydriving219) has been there when he had his Cavy Z24. What part did they tell you drove into their shop missing Matt, your EGR plate right?? It's one thing to lie to a customer on something they wouldn't notice (which isn't a good idea either), but to lie about something that is extremely obvious the second the person tries to drive the car is pretty sad.

I woudnt mind heading down there at all. But until I get my clutch fixed I can't!! I may have put 30 miles on my car in the last month and a half...if that. Haven't driven it much since I got this Exedy put it.

 

What happened with your clutch? I'm guessing a poor install?

 

That sounds good. Perhaps one Wednesday we can make a point to meet there (or somewhere) so it isn't a shot in the dark for me driving all the way to Jacksonville in the hopes of meeting some people hehe. I'd even go out to Coastal Plains if people are meeting out there.

 

Not sure, I'm still waiting to get it taken out to find out what the real problem is. It has to be sent back to Exedy for them to check it out. It's been horrid since day one.

It's really hard to shift into 1st and 6th while standing still. Almost all shifts are notchy, and the clutch pedal is adjusted ALL the way up. It's really uncomfortable to drive with how high the clutch grabs, hence my g/f *****es at me every time she drives the car.

 

quick fix to that, she cant drive it lol ... hope everything works out. im not sure where you got your clutch, or if its a factory defect or what not, but if you need any parts for that thing, matt at *** imports is an exedy whiz

 

it's right next to Fast Freddy's. DON'T GO to HPImpors. they stole parts from my old car when I went there to install a part.

 

if we're going to CP we'll post about it, but I don't really go there much since my car is still stock and my brother won't be going there for a while until his clutch gets fixed.
