where the crash beam for the IX rear bumper.

i also need to order a new alternator. i think mine is dead. can a bad alternator cause your battery to drain with the car is just sitting there for a week or so? i know that it is not charging and the battery light and brake light came on the other day, which means there is something wrong with the alternator.

 

it could not be charging yeah... but if you drive it around and the car is running fine then i doubt its that. I'd figure the battery would drain pretty quick if the alternator is dead. Maybe it is bad though and isnt charging like it should. For the crashbeam... check mitsubishiparts.net you will have to send them an email looking for it though because i didnt see it on their site.... but they can get it. Also, do a search for jdm crash beam on here and see where else the guys have been getting it.

 

Check the wiring connections from the battery to the altenator. If its loose or corroded you won't be getting a good charge.
