Fayetteville/Ft Bragg/Pope AFB -- TAKE TWO!!!
Just got back from Kuwait. I just joined up before I left. Saw Matt at the track good luck to him, he's really dedicated. I tried to race a Silver 05 STI Saturday night. He ran from me in traffic, in the rain. I asked him to run me somewhere safe that night, but he wouldn't. He mentioned H&H and said he's pushing 400HP. Then he told me he wasn't tuned and he's only hitting 19 PSI. The same I was at that night... I realized after I left that it was Gino's old car.

You saw me there as well...i was helping matt, and that silver sti is pushing nowhere near that. They dont have any sti's i've seen up there aside from maybe sam's over 350... probably a lot less. Hell i put down 330 up there and they were amazed by that. So unless he is doing work on the side to that thing and not telling them then i seriously doubt is 400 is on their dyno.

If anyone's looking to do ball joints and/or bushings, Phantasm in Raleigh did a great job on my control arms. I took my control arms to a machine shop and a couple of shops I won't name in Fayetteville/Spring Lake, and they were clueless. I have to thank Billy's automotive on Hwy 87 with direction and help on the install. It wasn't a quick job at all. I'm going to post a basic write up, cause I couldn't find any info on ball joints before I did it. I installed the Whiteline roll correction kit and Energy suspension bushings. The car handles on rails now one the stock springs and almost all body roll is gone. The turning response is incredible. I can't wait to install the rest of my bushings.
i have about had it with this damn car. the body shop can't even get it started now. i am taking it back to buschur when i am home on leave. hopefully dan and dave can get it running again like it should be!
it is something electrical. the battery has been dying for some time now. i have gone through 2 of them since getting the car back. either the AEM is fried, soemthing is ground, the ignition is bad, or the alternator is dead. i will find out, hopefully, when i get it up there.
i still have the 20g, yes. i am heading back on the 6th of july. we are getting stuck here for the 4thfor the added security. i really hate being an MP! lol
