anyone goin to FF or rockingham this friday? i'm goin to one of them but don't know which one yet.

 

It wouldnt let me get one of the nuts for the hotside off, I even drank a Red Bull and try to Man It up but still would not come off. Ill stop by H and H this weekend to see what they say.

and prolly a tune. no offense, but up top your car seems to fall on its face. i'll prolly be over before FF to do a leak test. possibly tomorrow afternoon/night after i get my new goodies installed. i might just pick up 10gal. of 112 oct tomorrow too and get it street tuned for race fuel after i install the other stuff.

 

you are killing me... the tune i have on my car is from AMS... Automotosports, from chicago, the fastest evo viii in the country. What you seem to forget is, i dont have cams, my car falls off much like your car did without cams, just like every other evo in the country without cams as well as the viii has the longer 4th gear... there is nothing in the world a tune from anybody in the world can do to fix something that is mechanical.

anyhow, we are getting off early as **** friday if you want to come to the house before and leak test. Im not sure if i will run my car friday or not but i will go up there with ya. I've got an issue with my car that i cant quite pin point. It seems really sluggish lately. I dont think its all the tune either. Im running fairly rich averaging about 10.6, but i am getting some nasty knock counts when driving regardless of the tune i run which tells me there is something else that is the culprit. i just swapped my plugs, i have a few other things to isolate to rule them out but if i cant put my finger on it, then i wont run, there is no point... anyways, just give me a call man and let me know about friday... later

tribal, do you think you can talk with hector and ask him if he is planning on giving me the 35 he still owes me for the MBC i gave him like 3 or 4 months ago... thanks


oh but matt, i will make you an offer..... you give me 2 runs on my map with my tune and i will give you 2 runs on your map with a tune, same boost settings and see what time i cut. ofcourse 60ft times will have to be comparable...but just to prove a point, i think that what we find will be interesting.

 

what i find interesting is that you haven't ran an 11.8 since i sent you a map is this a brotherly d i ck swinging contest we have here, AGAIN so what your saying is that you don't have a chance just to point out something to you obviously your missing, i'll have my NEW GOODIES installed. doesn't matter what boost level you want to run bud. like i've stated before, i love the 1/4 mile and i run it at the cars FULL potential, not half @ss or 3/4. you run yours to the fullest and i'll run mine. since thats the case, i won't be finding anything interesting BUT, if you insist, i'm up for the challenge..........

 

I'm getting the impression that Jason meant he would run his map twice in his car, then your map twice in his car......

I didn't tell him to lean his car, I told him that is what a local tuner here does and claims great success with. Try paying attention to what I say, not what your limited intellect comprehends. (BTW, this tuner get's paid and is highly trusted/recommended around here....can you say the same for yourself?)

So in basic terms yes I'm back with whatever you want to call it. And you sir are back with misreading, misunderstanding, and misconstruing...you pick.

Edit: Because you tune your own car doesn't make you any smarter or better than anyone else...although I'm sure you think you are.

 

he gets paid to lean a car out to 12.0 afr on 91 or 93oct? hes highly trusted? anyone else see something wrong with this statement? go check the facts and make sure its not on race gas or higher than 93oct. and yes sir, i'm back and i'm running an 11.6 in the 1/4 with a stock evo9 turbo(tuned by myself on race gas) to your 11.79 with an ams 50trim like i said, go back to the peanut gallery or better yet, find a donut gallery

should've just kept your fingers off the keyboard brian. btw, you make the Air Force look bad. next time just leave the Air Force out of it i have my proof on paper and my car, do you? only thing i've seen or heard your car do is get its @ss handed to, run like **** and you run your mouth when you where here around town like your somebody. but you have lots of exterior stuff done to it so i guess thats a good thing, right? just to clarify, you had to start with your comments first. last i checked, jason and i were talking. go ahead and leave your last statement big mouth. i'm not goin to ruin another thread..........

EDIT: learn to keep your comments to yourself when 2 people are talking(not mad at each other) and you wouldn't ruin threads. especially when your fat and should be doing some pt instead.......
