one of the frame rail, at least i think that is what it was, was broken and bent all to hell. i will try to find the picture i have of it.

the hardest part is getting the damn insurance company to look at it. but luckily my agent is pretty quick.

no no. they sell FRONT brake pads/rotors but not the rear. i've tried everywhere in fayettenam and couldn't find anothing but the dealer for rear brake pads. suck but oh well. prolly just have to wait till next wednesday...........

But yea, those frame rails are sectional, if you follow it foward you can see where it meets up with the main frame rail. They just pop the rivits in the trunk and pull the old piece out. Depending on how good the body shop is they should be able to weld in the new piece and make it look like factory. If you pull up my trunk mat or look under the car you would have no idea that it had been rear-ended.

glad i could help out... give that guy a call, point him to this thread so he can meet everyone. hopefully you can help him with his brakes and in turn fix your issue. you will need a few tools though that i dont think you have. give me a call and i will fill you in. later man
