Track times dont really show you a whole lot about the tune because so many other factors come into play... tires, launch, shifts, wind etc. it would be nice to see what you are putting down pre fp and post fp
i have evoscan v0.99. i've had evoscan for awhile. brad and i where tuning out here where i live with evoscan and LC-1. i think the first version i had was evoscan v0.97. didn't know how to use it at first but then we figured it out.

you said it right but not so right when i street tune, i do set my tires to the same psi i use at the track, the same launch, shift, etc. Wind, temp and vht are the exceptions to not getting everything the same. the only way i'm getting on the dyno is if your willing to pay for it ric not trying to be stubborn but i just don't care all that much about dyno hp/tq #'s. i'm sure i'll stop by H & H to check out their shop and chat with the guys there but thats about it.

i dont want to get in a discussion about tuning techniques or whatever, everyone has their own ways... but if you are tuning while launching and going through all of the gears... you'd be the first person i've heard of doing that. I know a lot of the major tuner guys will pay special attention to the tuning areas around the shift point to smooth out the transition but i dont see many people at all logging an entire run. But i guess it really doesnt matter, whatever works for you is whatever works. I just figured you'd want to know some numbers before hand and after seeing as how the butt dyno isnt that accurate. My main point being though, at the track this past weekend you ran a 12.1 when they posted your times, and then you did some street tuning and you ran a time you felt was better but they werent recording on the track timer... I just wonder if it felt better because the driving was better, or the tune was better is all. If you were logging with evoscan though, you have a better idea. I didnt realize you were using that to log, i thought you were still using your logger.

That's another good thing about the Mustang Dyno. You can do simulated 1/4 mile drag runs and most certainly see if you're making gains other than just power numbers. Increasing trap speed will let you know that your tuning is working out.

yup a friggin year. the warrant thing didnt go so swell. they wouldnt let me go to warrant school since im deployed. i did reenlist though sorry to say. as much as i wanted to get out i at least wanted to see how life is in the SF world. I got 21U (topy - imagery analyst) with assignment to USASOC. hopefully i can find myself in a group somewhere and spend my last couple years.
I have paid off the evo too by the way. All done, it'll feel good without a car note when i get back...............

i went into Diamond and told ron he had to give me $3500 to keep that crap on the side of my car to help get my new setup. he looked at me like he was on crack(might've been), or wait, maybe he thought i was on crack? when i went to Pinks i got ALOT of compliments on how clean the car looked(waxed it beforehand), outside and under the hood. i must say i like it alot more also. when waxed, theres nothing like black on black on a nice day

anyway, ron helped with my bike dyno and giving me a place to use it hence why it was on there. its sold so i won't be doing that anymore. getting an aboveground pool for the family..........

yeah i knew why the graphics were there, couldnt blame you for that one, advertising is what it is and if you have to put it on the side of a car everyone is going to look at, you might as well. Freshly waxed black on black is definitely nice. Now what you need to do is jump on some headlights and tails and or get with Sean and have him help you paint yours the way Chris helped him do his and for $50 and an afternoon you will have blackened heads and tails to match which IMO looks the best. The chrome that they use on the stock just stands out sooo much... We will have to get together when you do the 20G install. Im curious to see how that thing feels. I would of had mine on already, I just wasnt ready to spend that much on an upgrade yet. I think i have at least 2 to 3 more tenths out of the stock turbo. Im pretty sure i can hit 11.5 with it and my current setup.... just need some ideal conditions and really dig into my tune
