definitely not heading to either place, but now that its Saturday morning, dont really need to say that. The rock is going to be so packed, and i dont plan on running anyway, and it was too damn cold to run last night..... maybe soon we can all plan another track day again. Let me know what everyone wants to do

In other news... Brian and I shot a 78 at Bayonet yesterday beating everyone else by 15 strokes at least

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I'm curious if anyone around Fayetteville is thinking of selling their EVO. I'm thinking of buying another. Please PM me if so.

well, went to PINKS and they picked the mid 10's cars to run for the tv show. the only thing that made it fun is that the wife and oldest boy came with and he had a blast. ran twice and they only showed the time for my first run which was a 12.1@113 and i was pissed. well, come to find out that my boost was at 24psi on race gas had to adjust the new forge rs bov and finally found its sweet spot after taking it out and adjusting it on the street before the second run. second run was ALOT stronger at 28-29psi but they didn't show our times that run as Rich from Pinks gave us the go and not the tree. the second run i beat a new supercharged amg mercedes 4 door which ran a 12.1 on his first run.

all in all it was good times but COLD as hell! saw 2 other evo's there, both blue, and one was running that ran an 11.1@xxx. he had a 2.3 stroker and an AMS gt35r, AEM, etc.

nice...

you need to take your car to H and H and or get an EBC so you can see how much boost you are actually running. Sean had the same boost gauge you are using and his gauge was reading low by 6 psi, my defi's read exactly 1 psi high. My greddy ebc and the dyno there are dead on together. I'd be curious to see how accurate your gauge is. maybe your 28 or 29 is only 26 or 25.

i'm about to purchase a stewart warner boost gauge sometime soon. also, there is no reason for me to go to H & H just to check my boost gauge or to dyno. dyno #'s mean nothing to me personally. its a good machine in assisting for tuning but thats about it. anyone can say they have X amount of hp/tq but if you can't drive it who cares. anyone that knows me knows i love going to the track but thats just me. i'm not so much into the show&shine(exterior mods) anymore. my family budget doesn't allow it right now anyway

true, but you'd have comparable numbers to anyone else using a similar dyno to see what you are actually putting to the wheels as well as to judge your car's strength to others. its nice to know. Since you arent using Evoscan or dataloglab which have HP/TQ graphs that give you a ballpark number while tuning... you dont really see the gains you produce by tuning. Track times dont really show you a whole lot about the tune because so many other factors come into play... tires, launch, shifts, wind etc. it would be nice to see what you are putting down pre fp and post fp

Well I'm playing golf at 1230 so I'd say around 5 or so would be good.
