Stand in?? Why dont you just pay the deposit and then you are guaranteed a spot? As far as I know there is no limit as to how many people can get in on this. If anything AMS will stay an extra day....
I'm still interested, but would want 2 things solved.
1. That AMS will be able to tune the car with new injectors (not a flash based on mods).
2. Answer on cost with or without dyno time. I would prefer a road tune. Also, if there is only dyno tune options - what is the total cost?
So, if AMS can say they will road tune my car for new injectors, and give me a price...I may be more willing.

I'm not sure I understand your first question. They can tune your ECU one of two ways. The base flash does take into account your current mods but they aren't specific. Whereas the custom flash will exploit the most efficient use of each mod.
So basically the base flash is a ballpark guesstimate and the custom is mod specific.
The cost of the tune is $180 for base and $395 for custom. Dyno time is extra and price is TBD. It will be based on how many people want to have their car dyno tuned but it IS NOT a requirement for the tune. It was only provided as option for those seeking the most gain "numbers" wise.
In any case, if you want AMS to just tune your injector scaling and latency, you'd have to ask Chris at AMS what he would charge. I would assume that it's a custom tune but if that is all he is doing he might be willing to negotiate.

damn guys I wanna get tuned on the rollers by AMS badly. but I havent done anything diff since AL tuned my car last and he even said my IX was one of the stronger ones he has done. I would have the be sure AMS could do 400 bucks worth better than AL.

Since you are already flashed I don't think they will charge you the full price. If all they need to do is make adjustments we can see if they will give you a price break. I am in the same boat.

... its christmas... we can always hope lol
