Yeah Frank the exhaust does sound good for an auto..
I think the muffler sounds really good when he goes through the gears on the auto..
Like if he goes in first gear an winds it out as far as he can tell by ear (no tach) it gets loud an all.. Same with second.. Then 3rd (just a 3 speed auto) it's just a constant hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
But yeah overall he's happy with it.

I saw something someone posted about a show at Tampa Hondaland...? Keep me posted on the times.. I'll see if I can work something out..
Later.

Jason,
This saturday, I'm going to O-town meeting some DSM'ers. They are going to run the dyno to test and tune a 1.8 TC mirage.

I still need to confirm some times. Don't know if I'm going to dyno my car. I pretty much know my flywheel HP/TQ rating after all my mods.

You guys are invited to come to O-town, if you want to.

I still need to work out some times w/ them.

Just new tires. My old Yoko Avid H4's were going bald (blew out 1 tire) after running +52K on them. I have Dunlops. They're a bit heavier but better overall grip. Of course, I'm a bit slow off the line (rpm is not flying fast enough right). I need more HP/TQ to break those tires loose. I can't chirp them like I did to the Avids.

Yeah dunlops are good tires..
My friend has a pair on his 92 civic hatch equiped with the infamous GSR..
I believe he's running low 14's just with a GSR, stripped door panels and rear all around(in the car obviously ) , 2 GSR seats in front, 15's, Tanabe Racing Medalion <--- Forgot how to spell I think<---
But yeah my neighbor's running yoko par.... (i don't know fully what he runs) I know their yoko's.. On his 00 Mustang GT running 303 H.P at the wheels..
Their very sticky tires after they heat up..

Dunlop SP Sport A2 . . . decently priced at tirerack.

Early Civic HB with engine transplant is always dangerous (in a good way).

Yoko Parada's and AVS are the sporty tires that can handle speed around 150 mph (not going to see that anythime soon). They are real sticky, but they don't last too long: under 30K. I can get that many miles within 14-15 month.

I wanted a tire that is good overall in performance, corner grip, wet traction, and noise level. Too much road noise kills the enjoyment of driving your car.

See I don't know some guys like to drive big trucks with swampers. They have to be crazy listening to all that road noise. Maybe, it's a macho thing . . .

As for the 00 GT, I expect that car to run in the low or high 14's along with the WS6 (good driver), camaro SS (good driver), or a bad driver in a C5 vette.

Don't worry, we won't be anywhere those times w/o TC'ing the motor.

There yuh go they were the yoko parada's..
Yeah my neighbor I believe is running mid to low 14's..
He almost got beat by that hatch.

The other day he raced an ITR with some kid driving it, probally 17 year old driver or so.. He pulled up aside of him an my neighbor nodded at him he nodded back an the ITR dropped it back into 4th an whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnned away.. My neighbor almost had his car topped out which he tops out at 138 in the stang the ITR took him up to about a buck 25/ buck 30 an he finally called it just because of a LITTLE overpowering in the stang. My neighbor took it to about a buck 35 or so then he let off an went his own way.. That ITR he estimated was running probally a little over 200 at the wheels meanwhile he's putting good 305 to the REAR wheels. In the end my neighbor said that kid gave him a good race but my neighbor's car just a had more ***** then his..
OBVIOUSLY.

The 'stang driver is crazy challenging an ITR from a rolling start (all honda, except transplanted motors, like rolling starts). The 'stang doesn't have enough rpm to compete with the ITR. The main strength of that car is the gear ratio.

I know a stock ITR can hit anywhere within the 15 sec mark.
