I think my bone stone lancer might show up Sat.. sure Ill be parked at Checkers "eating" ...just for the lack of embarassment.. but I might just so happen to be hungry saturday at 7:30ish

But I did just get this idea and with a little organization we might be able to pull it off. I was thinking maybe one friday or saturday night we could meet up on Route 60 (Gulf to Bay) in Clearwater and then head over to the beach. We could just cruise the beach and look at all the cars and then hit up Outback or Frenchys. Some nights theres alot of rice but others there is some genuinely nice stuff but Ive never seen an evo/lancer out there but like once.

 

club3gfl.com is having a meet on april3rd at the dillards in international plaza. if anyone is interested i thought i would be kinda cool for some evos and lancers to head up there. let me know if anyone is down. i think i may head up to checkers tomrrow to check out the show.

 

oh you know what. I think that this sat. at the car show instead of there just being a show they are gonna have some kind of a parade with all the cars down dale mabry. like if you come to the show at 7 and pay five bucks to enter your car into the show you will get a spot in the parade. but im not sure if its this sat. or next sat. but even if there is a parade we can still just meet up there.

Yeah, if I'm not dead tired and if I get out of work when I'm supposed to (i.e. if my employees don't mess anything up too bad). Then I'll be there. I'll probably go to the checkers also (pretty dang close to stock, unless window tint counts )

 

Blue04ES - I'm down with having some meets in Pinellas. Maybe we could rotate meets around the county for us Pinellas people, and the Tampa people can do their thing. Every couple months we could ALL get together. What do you think?

 

The casual meets in pinellas sound cool and meeting up with the tampa guys is cool with me too I just got this a month ago so I'll use anything for an excuse to drive. Im not all into mods YET (cause Im poor in school and still owe like 6k) So right now Im just trying to get into the scene and see whats out there. Im gonna be at Checkers tonight but I may have to leave around 9-9:30 ish cause theres a party I cant miss out on.

Im currently a senior at Dunedin but next year who knows.. either UCF FSU or UF. I havent decided yet since Im still waiting on UF. And I left the "show" at like 8:45 it was nothin but vetts and a bad a** cruiser... well as bad as you can pimp a PT atleast. I had more fun later when the crazy kids on bikes thought it would be cool to pick on my Lancer down Gulf to Bay. Wheelies ... ahh wheelies.. maybe one day.. when I can afford my rims... let alone a bike.

 

Just wait until you go to college, then you will REALLY be broke! When do you want to try to get a pinellas meet going for?

Not sure if any of you heard about it, but the TampaRacing forum (a bunch of friends of mine) are having a track day at Bradenton this Friday. I don't have all the details, but here's what I do got.. It starts at 6pm and cars start running at 7pm; this Friday 4/2/04. I'm fairly certain they said it was $5 bux to get in. Again, I'm not real sure of the logistics, or even if it's completely public. ;-)

I'll get more info tomorrow morning but PM me if anyone is interested and I'll see what I can do. I'm definately gonna be there and I finally have 500+ miles on the clock; so I'm definately at least gonna take a couple runs and see what ma baby's got.

I was told there would be a whole bunch of FI cars to see running too! Sounds like a fun event. Get me a message if your interested.

OK, here are the details.. It's $5 to watch, $35 to run (pre-registered), and $40 at the even. ONLY the pre-registrations are garunteed runs.

I talked to my peeps on the thread and they said to put a link up and have anyone interested sign up. That way their board gets more traffic (and it's a sweet forum) and they get some members! ;-) It's a win-win for anyone in TPA.
