Tampa Bay EVO check-in

Alright, I'm in Oklahoma (attending grad school) right now, but I'm from Tampa (Palm Harbor).

I want to know who all from Tampa has an Evo? What part of town are you in?

I got my Evo from Clearwater Mitsubishi in April '03. They gave me a great deal too.

Clearwater Mitsu doesn't exist anymore. It became a Toyo dealership.

There are Evo owners but probably not a board member.

Hmmm . . . did you ever go to brandon on hwy 60?

When I had my 240, I was taunting a previous gen 'tegrs GS. Suddenly, a black Evo came gunning after me, but he was stuck in the slow lane in front of a church school on hwy 60 while I was the next lane over. I'm still trying to find out who.

Ok thanks.

Sidewinder is a good place, and I'm sure that they can work with a 4g64 since they had worked on galants and the 2g spyders.

I live in Lithia. I constantly drive on US 60 all the time. No one in the Tampa area would accept my offer so I had to go to Agusta Georgia to get my Evo.

SLVRNBLK,

Was that you? I was going west to east, just beyond the corner kingsway and hwy 60? All I heard was a BOV near my rear 1/4 panel and knew it didn't sound like a DSM or Supra.

I just couldn't fathom the reason why an Evo will gun after a S13.

Top Speed. I think they are somewhere in Tampa, just like Secret Services or something like that.

My bad, I bought it from Lokey Mitsu on Gulf Blvd. They got the franchise after Clearwater Mitsu closed. I'm just used to calling it that.
Courtesy is the worst line of dealerships I've ever dealt with when it comes to buying cars. I remember back in 2000, I was looking for a Grand Prix GTP and they had one. They did not treat me right, they couldn't give me a straight answer on a trade or really negotiate without making me wait for hours. So I ended up going to Brandon to buy it.

Ya, Lokey is the default Mitsu dealer now. I didn't know it until I talked to my friends in St pete.

Just got a message from a st pete friend. Secret Services still exist. Yes, they do have a dyno, but I don't know their rates.

The address: 3201 118th Ave. N, #9, St. Pete

Yeah Secret Services is still there... they charge 125 bucks I think for each hour of dyno tuning. 3 pulls on the dyno is 60 bucks and 3 pulls with air/fuel monitoring is 65 bucks....

Not too bad considering Mastro Subaru on Hillsborough charges like 200 bucks!!!
