Tampa Bay EVO check-in
thanks, I went with Tanabae GF 210. 1" lower in rear and 1.5" lower in front. It's perfect!! And it's not too low, so I don't have to worried about scrapping everything. Highly recommended
One more tire question. What size did you go with? Have you noticed the car is slower because of a wider tire? I really see a difference, and was really supprised. I really had the car about as fast as I had planned and now I feel like I need more power. I know I gained less than 10 pounds overall, so I don't think that is it. The only thing I can come up with is the wider tire x4. But the handeling is really amazing. Don't be surprized when I ask you about those springs again, that will be next for me.
Actually I got the same width as stock 235. The tires are 235/35/19- The rims are a little heavier but of course the tires are a little lighter. I gained about the same poundage as you did then. I don't feel much difference with the "butt-dyno", but I guess if I had to call it it feels a little slower. Really close though. You have more performance mods than I do, so maybe that has something to do with it, not sure.
As far as the springs they are definately just for looks. I love the lower ride and look with no gaps, but the handling has suffered.

So there was a trade off in the ultimate handling dept, so I guess that means I won't be able to wax a Lamborghini in a road course anymore... Shucks I had one scheduled next week, but hey it looks killer. (My opinion of course!)

As far a you thinking you need more power, that of course could be attributed to a couple of things. A: Your a guy! B: You're brain is imagining this to give you an excuse to justify MORE POWER. or C: You were foolishly kidding yourself into thinking this car was anywhere close to done!

since there seems to be an abundance of tampa evo's now, anyone want to try to meet up sometime? get a meet and greet together and then maybe some hooters, splitsville or something. channelside maybe? just a thought. also get some of the tampa lancers out too. i think that would be kinda cool. espcially since there isn't anything else going on in tampa (i.e. track days, events......)

Next Saturday 2pm at International mall. I live in clearwater/dunedin, but just about everybody else will be heading over from orlando. I used to have a 3g spyder, so that's where I know them all from and still get together with...
