l be there on Saturday without the EVO - Incompetant Lokey Dealership still has the car... They can't get their head out of their *** long enough to order the right parts... They've had the block for over a week (tuesday of last), the engine out since last thursday, and now yesterday they found out they ordered the wrong block... Didn't have the courtesy to call me, but told corporate that they are "not covering the repair under warranty", that it's a one time courtesy, and the DICKstrict manager is denying rental coverage... They have no idea when the car is going to be done, and they are saying at the earliest next friday... abso****inglutely ridiculous...

Lemon in FL is 3 strikes for the same thing... If anything, we need to collect everybody's case that has a P0300 code on their EVO... Then we can get preceedings going towards a possible class action... See, if they cover it under warranty they have to report it. If they 'pay for it' they don't... Too many warranty fixes and it puts up a red flag...

OK, so I am printing out maps right now. I will be there tomorrow night. Look fir the old guy in the yellow evo. I also have another guy from work in a silver Nismo 350Z comming along and another in possibly an M5. I also met a guy that works a Thompsen Mitsubishi here in Punta Gorda. He took delivery of his new red EVO yesterday, gave him my number and invited him to go along.

Today is a very sad day for me. For the last 11 months I have been the only Evo in my area. Now I have to share the attention, thank god I have 11 months of mods on him. No really looking forward to seeing someone elce with one, not to mention he works at the dealership.

P0300 is general misfire. No other codes in the ccomputer... If it was oil related, it would have triggered the oil light for one, and two, it would have something else in the computer.. I was at 4900 rpm when it misfired on decell. There's a bug in the computer that retards timing. Mitsu will not fess up to it...

I will not make the track tomm night, gotta work. Though I should be able to make it on Sat tough. Will have to leave around 5ish though. It would be cool if 7seven7 and siantjab could come. Sorry 5pydr3r about your car, sucks to have an Evo, but not really have it!

I'm going to come down to Tampa with the Evo in June before I leave for 2 months of Army training. Hopefully, I can meet some of you all.

Just wanted to say the track was a blast last night. Watching all the cars run was great. I ran my car and it was the first time I was ever on a track. Did learn that I din't know how to drive and that I am scared as hell of hurting the clutch. But even with crapy times (14, 101 Best of 2) boy is it a lot of fun. I am going to put up a couple of Pictures, unfortunatly I let my 13 year old son run around with the camera so they are not that great.

There were 4 EVO's there and we all had a great time.
