So that little visit to the track for the meet was pretty hard on my cluch, and even harder on some of the rest of yours judging by the smell . Went to the dealer yesterday and had it driven by one of the mechanics. He said it's not to bad, the amount of pedal that I have indicates that is is nearing the end of it's life. Don't really have the cash for a stage 2 at this time so I figured I would try to get it replaced under warrenty. That was a mistake, I was always under the impression that there was a 12 month / 12000 mile coverage on the cluch. Much to my surprise (and alot of screaming at the district rep and also the lady on the mitsubishi customer service line) I found out that there is absolutly zero coverage on the cluch. So I guess I will baby this one for the time being and start figuring out which cluch to get. I am leaning toward 2, any experience anyone has with replacing cluch will be appreciated.

1. Cluch masters stage 2 kit

2. WORKS Clutch Kit CK2

Baby those cluches boys, they ain't cheap.

How about the ACT clutch? Twin Plate is a little extreme, you might brake something else.

It looks like I'll be back in Tampa in mid-June.

Thanks for all the input on the cluch. Hopefully this one will hold out for a month so I can afford the one I want. I am leaning toward the WORKS cluch. I was going for the CK2, but noticed the car they brought to the Sport Compact Magazine shootout only had a CK1 and that is their test platform. I am giving them a call to see what they recommend. I also want to get ahold of Vivid racing to see what they have to say, they treated me really good when I bought my rims.

Well it's 5 to 6 in the morning on Saturday and I'm out of here for the weekend. Hope to see some of you at NOPI in bradenton this weekend.

Hey everyone. Just returned from NOPI, had a great time. Just wanted to give you guys the thread to view the pictures. Steve, I should have brought the camera down when I looked at your EVO, the new Pipe Kit and the car look great. Actually took second place in my class, nice to finally get a little something for all the work. Here is the link to the thread where I posted all the pictures.

Hey I saw a nice Evo 8 heading down I-75 south in Tampa, by the I-4 exit this morning. We were stuck in traffic behind a cop *shudder* and I had to pull off on I-4 for werk. He continued on I-75 south.

Car was red, dard tint, and tall spoiler. Anyone around here??

Isn't the works a 6 puck? My DSM buddies (experts) here in OKC hate those types of clutches.

4 weeks and I'll be in Tampa.

Yuppers, that was you then, right at about 8:45am!! Your car looked hot!!

Yeah, I was behind you, and I tried to catch up but there was a bunch of cars trying to huddle behind the cop. LOL! Woulda been funny as h3ll to pull up on either side of the cop and leave is a$$ behind with the rest of the traffic!!

Where do you live at? I'm in New Tampa off Cross Creak. We should get together.

Thanks! Yeah we should hang, out. I live in Wesley Chapel, right off the Land O Lakes/I-75 exit, SR 56. I am like 5 min from you. I used to live in some apartments on Cross Creek. PM me whenever and we'll see what's up.
