Hi all.. I'm a newb in this forum, but i've lived in the TPA area for quite a few years, and I'm allways on the look out for new meetings/events. Just wanted to drop a line and give big ups to all the local Lancer/Evo owners in my area! If there is anything in the works as far as a meet please keep me posted. It's allways great to meet new people in the area.

BTW, ttiscio, I definately feel you! I've only had my Evo a short time and the wife is crazy jeaslous. LOL!

 

for the past few times, our meets were filled w/ no-shows or raining hard.

Our last was about 1.5 yrs ago. Carlos and I are the last of the first two crew in TB.

 

I think bahamut is still angry! Just kidding, he is right though, trying to organize a meet that people actually show up to is like pulling teeth.

No, They will be here today. Have an appointment to get them mounted this afternoon in case UPS shows up on time. Tires ahve been in the garage for 4 days, can't wait. If you guys have a meet on the weekend let me know so I can make plans to come up.

 

Funny, that doesn't suprise me at all about TPA. Other than the usual stuff in Bradenton, and the Gandy crowd, I haven't seen much in the way of meets. I know a lot of DSM tuners in the area so if anyone gets a wild hair and wants to get something together keep me posted. I'll drag some people out with me. ;-)

Naw. I just miss my old crew amongst the lancer guys. If there is a meet, it'll be my 3rd crew.

Need to set a meeting for a Saturday night. I'm off every Saturday and Sunday. I went to the Tuner Bash in Daytona over the weekend and had a great time.

 

I could most Fridays or Saturdays, I usually get off at 8. My biggest problem would be if I had a lot of homework due. College sucks. I guess after the semester is over would be the best for me.

 

ttiscio, they look great man! I see you didn't waste any time. Even got a yellow WORKS sticker to match! Very nice.

You going to do anyting about our ever present wheel gap?

I think your WORKS logo might look nicer in the quarter panel window just behind where you have it now, if it will fit. Just a suggestion.

 

Got a call from Racing Zone today! My wheels are in, and my tires will be there tomorrow. I should have pics tomorrow night. Then with ttiscio we can bask in our "New Wheel Glory", even if its only for a short time until we get another itch...
