yeah all the wheels about come in 18's. I have just never had 19's before and I just wanted to go all out. They only weigh 2-3 lbs more per wheel than the stock 17's, so it's not that bad.

v8killer, congradulations on the rims. You have to let me know how you think the car handles and rides with the 19's on. I was told that the ride and cornering would suffer with 19's. Did you say you went with 230's that is narrower than the stock tire. I acually went to 245/40/18. I have been told that they will rub in a hard turn once the car it lowered.

I think those new rims will look sick on your EVO.

is it a drag event? I went to one before in the past. There was a 20 sec lebaron that almost won bracket racing. People booed the driver after his 2nd win.

No I got 235/35/19, which is the same tire width as stock. The rim is an inch wider though. Stck width is 7.5- these will be 8.5 wide. But we can only go with 235 for rubbing. I chose the 19's because a guy over a racing zone had a "slammed" evo with some sick *** 19" Volk SF challenge wheels, he said everything is fine.

Just got my tint done today, i took a pic in the garage sorry. My tires and springs are in but my wheels will be here in a couple of days. Will have pics by the end of next week!

Those are some monster size pics. You can get paint shop pro at Best Buy to help touch up, crop, and shrink your image. It shouldn't cost much and very easy to use.

The other guys should have better eyes to judge on appearance than me. I know my style is totally different from most people.

 

Just right click on the image once it's up, and then select "view image" or "show iage"- then the pic will resize!

 

You know I just got my tires yesterday, I got 245/40/18. The guys at Vivid Racing said I shouldnt have a problem with rubbing untill I lower the car. Then only when I have the wheel turned really hard over. The rims I got are 8.5 too.
