I got an injen intake for $266.00, still waiting for it to get here hope its worth it

I paid $118.00 with shipping and tax.

I ordered from www.lancered.com and earlier today I recieved an e-mail telling me that they were out of stock. They also said they contacted RRM an today my intake shipped out from cali. So hopefully it will here by early next week. ::sigh::

Good choice with the Injen CAI although $266.00 sounds quite steep. Where did you order it from? I believe a few of the fellow florida owner's in this thread got it a little bit cheaper.

I got a question for you david. OR anyone one who might know. I got like 9625 miles on my car. Before the car felt like It was holding back on power. NOW for some reason the car is kicking azz all over the place. Is like 9 thou a breaking point or something for this car? It just feels like every time I hit another gear, it just wants to take off.

 

the CEL is still on....i need to get a MIL eliminator for the first cat, or i was thinking about moving the O2 sensor back behind the second O2 sensor, because the 1st one checks periodicly.....i prob will just get the mil........the by-pass valve for the CAI is 49.99 and its a AEM.....DO NOT GET IT!!!! there was a total recall of ALL models so just wait till injen comes out with one comperable...........my car show is 13th and 14th of this month, and its:

Holy cow, header shouldn't cause a CE light, unless improperly designed or the 2 cat-system. If the latter, I don't know how to fix it, besides O2 simulator.

Frank, you get several breaking pts on the motor. For me, I had one at 5K, 10K, 25K, and 65K. Each time, my car gets better MPG.

As for the by-pass from AEM, I think they have fixed the problem. Somebody gotta ask them if the problem got solved or not. Don't want a piece of foam being ingest in the combustion chamber.

Still a wait and see on Saturday . . . I need to fix my elec gremlin running loose on my gauge cluster (might be cause by my alarm) and put new r134a for the AC.

 

import lancer i have a cai by injein....reason i was asking b/c i can get it for 225.00 even that is after tax......if you know any other lancer that are interested in getting one let me know and i can get it for that same price.....

as for that new guy deceptacop if there is anyway you can take it back i can get it for you at the same price and save you 50 bucks

Yeah if I had a 5-speed I would take you up on that deal. There are like 5 yellow lancer's floating around meadow pointe (my neighborhood.), have no clue who they are, haven't really seen them before. I'll try an see if any of them are of age an not just another 90 year old man who got a good deal on just another car. I'll get back to you if I have any takers on the intake.
