Orlando Weekly Meets
Ruben, you said that you were going to keep the Stock Turbo and max it to 450 whp,
. That is
. You got to max your set-up to then make a change.
My car went 11.8 at over 116 mph on the small 9.8 hot side and compressor side, with little cams, full weight about 2 years ago. It was making 369 whp and 385 Tq. at CFT. Thats about equals 417 whp and 437 Tq. on a Dynojet, as the CFT Dyno was 13 percent less compared to a Dynotjet, back then.
Currently, the CFT Dyno reads 5 percent lower than Dynojet, after lasts year re-calibration.
I maxed out the Stock Turbo, so I bolted this 20G on.
The current 20G set-up has 30~40 more whp in it. I plan to max it out with the addition of 3 more changes, and then, it will be time to change for a new set-up.
You got until then to make your Stock IX Turbo Whistle Dixie,
.
And I was impressed with the Dyno Plot you got at Brotherz Racing a few months back. I don't know how much more you can make on that Stock Turbo.
I personally think it was at its peak that day.
John did a job on that Tune.
Now that I think about it, every Tune John does, makes power,

.Exactly Manie my thinking, your numbers are about equal to what I got, but I was talking to John today and I think we can make it happen. With a much larger Throttle Body, a ported intake Mani, I'm sure there's some power to be had there. Also I'm going to tighten the waste gate finally. If the car was ran on waste gate alone it stayed at 18PSI, so I'm hoping to up it to about 26-27 PSI. A issue I was having was the boost controller, John and I wanted more power but we couldn't get it on the dyno. At 100% duty cycle on the boost controller on pump gas it maxed out a 22.3 PSI and still made 374HP & 358TQ. We did not tune it on pump gas either because it was interfering with the meth map, so after the 1st run you saw us use the meth, but that's no longer going to be a issue thanks to the access port and other products that are out there to do full map switching on the fly. Lastly at 100% duty cycle on the boost controller on meth the car maxed out at 29.5 PSI. Not good enough if you want to make huge numbers. So here's the plan of attack for that. Either get a pill for the boost controller and try to push it harder or I'm already going to be getting Buschur's Dual Stage boost controller to not have to worry about it any more...
I will try to give you a run for your money here soon, I just gotta get everything together, there's a lot happening here, and I got to make sure I get the right things ASAP, it was you and Manny who started me on the right path, I'm not trying to venture off of it at any time...

Sounds like fun! wish I can join the party
