You ask... WHAT IS A HTA35R?
The FP3582HTA turbocharger is very similar to the standard GT3582R Garrett turbocharger in overall size and footprint, but that is where the similarities end and your new found power begins. It comes with a 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet anti-surge ported compressor housing. This new and improved style of anti-surge port provides a longer and more gentle bell mouth guide for the air all the way down to the inducer tips. The standard turbine housing is the T31 housing in 2.5" outlet for compact installation applications such as 4G63. Other turbine housings styles are available.
Repeated dyno testing and thousands of miles of street punishment have shown how much faster spooling the HTA is compared to the normal 35R. Midrange and bottom end torque which are usually dismal in regular .82 A/R GT35r kit cars are DRAMATICALLY improved with HTA compressor technology! If you always wanted a 35R on your car, but just could not stand the thought of all that lag - then you have found the answer to your troubles. At 4800rpm the FP3582HTA delivers a 50ft-lb torque increase over the standard Garrett 35R.

Here is a Dyno of the HTA35R on Pump.

Is there Lag?

Here you are Dave,
your Turbo on the same boost you posted.

No lag?

!!ETS 61mm Tuned!!
Well I thought I had better make a thread in the Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain section too, because what I am reviewing here is the ETS 61mm turbo kit. First and foremost, I am not going to repeat myself but I know many of you are aware of my feelings towards ETS, their customer service, and their products. Up until this past Saturday, I did not have any reason to make power/performance claims based on my own personal experiences with anything from ETS, because I had nothing to base them off of other than other peoples' cars and I do not like to do that. Now, however, all I can do is give ETS a huge on all aspects of their work.
The ETS 61mm surpassed my expectations on pump gas alone. I knew that I was dealing with a big turbo, so I was alittle concerned because I knew that I wouldn't be in this turbos efficiency range at only 24psi on pump gas. I wish I had a video of the car on the dyno because at only 17psi, I thought the car was boosting around 30psi; the car sounds sooo mean.
For those of you considering a larger turbo setup, don't just consider the GT35R. The PT61 actually has a slightly larger turbine (by 2mm) and comes with different housings from Precision, a .63a/r turbine housing and a .60a/r compressor housing. All it all, it is a sweet combination that makes tons of power mated up with the ETS tubular manifold and the Tial 38mm recirc dump into the bad*ss 5 bolt downpipe. I haven't experienced absolutely any surging issues at all with this turbo and at this conservative boost level, 24psi, nor have I haven't experienced any boost creep neither.
Combine this kit with an amazing tune from DTM, and you will have some beautiful curves that make some serious power

So here it is on Pure Tuning's mustang dyno (reads just like Buschur's dyno for reference):
Evo IX
Stock cams/head/block/clutch
pump gas
24psi
ETS 61mm
DTM tune

Now here is a snap shot I just took of a log I made about 4 days ago.

22 psi right at 3870 rpms. That is about 600 rpms sooner for the same boost on pump. On race fuel, on 30 plus psi, the Turbo spools even faster at that rpm.

Here is my log.

All facts with pics. No argument here, right?
