Get a hold of lancerman on TR. He rebuilds trans, for a good price, and his work is great. You can also try Brotherz Racing in tampa. They can remove the trans and have lancerman rebuild it, then reinstall it.

Alright thanks. I'll look him up. I'll be changing my fluids this coming weekend. Since I've had the car i've never changed it and its been many many miles over 30Kmiles. Either way I'll need to take care of it in the end...

I'll contact lancerman this week. Thanks people.

We can also replace synchros Allen. Having one place take out the trans, then bring it some one else, then bring it back to reinstall is a PITA. You can get it all done here much you have done for your other work and tuning we have done for you.

We just replaced the speed sensor gear on the center differential as well as 5th gear synchro in my own 5sp and wow, it is a nice feeling to be able to shift again without griding.

He would not have to bring it anywhere. They take care of all of that. Lancerman is the tranny builder they use. They bring it to him and usually get it back the same day.

Haha, I didn't realize lancerman was already in this thread. Jerry does good work. I have had him replace an input shaft in a trans last year.

Its an all day event. We have installed about 190 Evo clutches so far and the job amounts to a clutch job, then a few hours on the rebuild depending the condition of the trans.
