Yeah, no sh*t. I was like wtf. Then I told him that ECP only quoted me 225 installed, magically, he dropped to 300 as his best rate. I guess he's removing the whole timing belt and all. He said he doesn't zip tie the belt to the cams and just leave them hang there. He removes the whole deal....anyhow, that seems a bit steep. I hope that's not how that shop is b/c they won't last very long. Well, I'm calling ECP tomorrow...

Sorry bro! I didn't know they would be that high. I just knew that if you needed the cams in they would have the time to do it, so you could make the trip down and tune the thing. Are you going to have ECP do it then? You need to throw those things in and join the club!

I am really tempted to shoot over there Fri afternoon/evening...I don't imagine they take that long to install, especially with a couple sets of hands....I guess....let me know what could work for you. I only work a half day on Fri. If we could get them in Fri, then hit the dyno for the tune Sat....

that works for me... one way or another, we will get them in. Im not sure what time i will get off on friday, but it is usually early. So if you want to try that you are welcome to. If you want to stay the night so you dont have to make multiple trips, that works also. It will take 2 to 3 hrs to finish though

 

2 or 3 hours to do cams..... hahaha good one... if we are all on acid and drunk... maybe 1 1/2 homeboy
