Bob that place is called Andy's. It's located on Henderson.

I too froze my ***** off. I had to help evaluate Drill for a mert. Sgt board. COLD!

Ben can I meet up with you to try out that gauge cup? I'm thinking about sticking with what I've got.

Any input fellas? Should I keep my Defi gauge or go with the AEM tru boost?

Cool, thanks.
Do you want to swap gauges just so they are all AEM?

Man..can someone tell me why my car is going super rich between shifts. I didn't think it would do it that bad. like mid 12's.

Bigric...man, Do I just need to get off my *** put the cams/fuel pump in and come see you? it's pissing me off. it keeps trying to stall in 1st, and is sucking gas like an H2...

well, getting off your butt and doing the cams and fuel pump would definitely be a nice thing for the car.

either way we can try and tackle whatever issues you are having, i just need a few logs to see if i can see anything out of the ordinary.

Alright, fuel pump is going in tomorrow for sure. The afr between shifts isn't nearly as annoying as it trying to die in first gear all the time. Plus when cruising, if you are in a "higher" gear than you maybe should be, just for cruising sake..the afr's will dip into the 11's. If you down shift, and get the rpm's up, the afr's go back to ~14.7. Its just really annoying. Plus it's sucking gas like a ****. No joke. 36 miles round trip to work takes 1/4 tank. something isn't right..plus my plugs are probably shot now too, from all the fuel.

No crazy sounds. Other than a slight sputter when it's being choked out with too much fuel. Stop and go traffic is a total NO GO. The car dies with each 1st gear pull out. I'm thinking it's a combo of MAF and fuel settings. I'm just gonna park it unless I have to drive it. Get the fuel pump in...and shoot your guys way for the cams and the tune. I'd like to hit up the FEB 2nd date, but trying to fit a cam install may be tight.

nick/ben I got the 3 bar MAP sensor btw.

yo, question for ya... did this start after the intake install ?

the first symptom really isnt a symptom if you are describing what i think you are. When you are cruising in 5th and then drop to 4th or 3rd you are loading the engine bringing you to a different point in your fuel table... which means a richer AFR. Now, im sure the intake is playing a role in this as well as the last time you were tuned it was quite a bit warmer out. Lets get those cams in, and the fuel pump, and take a look at her.

Yes. It started after the intake. I knew it would mess things up and a re-tune is necessary.
The running rich part happens when you are IN the higher gear with little load on the engine. That's what's confusing me. It will go to 14.7ish when you down shift and get the rpms up. And of course it will drop to low 11's when hitting boost as it should. And yeah, I know the cold is playing with it too.
I'm going to put the fuel pump in today, and try to locate an adapter cable for my wideband. Once the MAP sensor shows up, I can hopefully send you some logs with decent information.
I'm just worried now, about how much more rich the pump is going to make it run.
