wow...those posts are funny sh*t...No...seriously, I would MUCH rather have you guys do it...I just hate the thought of turning a random stranger loose with my car...especially this one. E VOL IX...Yueng is my brew of choice too...I'm from PA originally so I gotta stick with the "roots" lol
Do I need to bring anything other than the cams?..oil, torque wrench..?

i know this is definately not the spotted forum, (who looks at that anyways), but i saw a WW RS tonite driving on base...it made me happy...but then i got sad because my clutch sucks so bad i drive like a 14 yr old learning to drive a stick. on that note, my new (read as USED and temporary) clutch got in this afternoon, just have to get the throw-out bearing and all my fluids that i wanna change then i suppose i can go to the hobby shop and install it (or go slam my dickie-doo in a car door). im really not looking forward to it cuz ive never touched a clutch before, and i dont have the cash-a-roo to have someone do it...yaya for me. oh, and my POS teg is still not up and running because i havent been able to do the brakes yet...FUN TIMES!
Jer I though you EAS'd. It's been awhile. Well good luck with that clutch.
Hey ben you get the ignition amp straighten out? Sorry I had to bail but the wife was hungry. You know how that goes. Anyways thanks for the help with the install. Everythign is reading good. Now I just need to fine tune this beast.
GOT DUTY TODAY! YEAH!

haha Nick, one could only be so lucky. I still have about 6 months, but I still dont know what I am going to do. Im hoping the clutch isnt too bad, I have a buddy thats willing to help, but I dont know how much I trust him lol. Have fun with the duty thing, you'll have a blast haha
yeah i hear ya. and given the fact that i havent done a clutch before (unless you count shop class in high school when i didnt have to drop it out of the car or wnaything) so i have been calling today and everyone wants like $875 to do it, including resurfacing the flywheel. I did however talk to east coast performance and they said $600...i dunno im gonna keep looking...i dont have a choice but to drive it right now, but it isnt going to be too much longer before it completely ***** the bed...
sure none of "the CREW" wants to help out? i would obviously pay you for the help lol....i just cant float $600+ and dont wanna fawk it up doing it on my own, and end up leaving my car sit at the hobbyshop here for a couple days, cuz thats what would happen lol. I cant do that to my baby
u in jacksonville right?? if you werent so far i would help.. we normally charge 700... but man it really really is a job... you shouldnt try it unless you have atleast 3 people and have had ALOT of experience workin on cars... i would be more than glad to at least help if you were around./
i appreciate it bro. i guess im going to ECP and have them do it...$600 for everything done, including the re-surface of the flywheel, and replacing the rear main seal...i do wanna get up there sometime though, go cruise around with some of you guys and go for some beers...
Ok well to be hoenst with you i have done this job a bunch of times and 600 plus turning the flywheel and replacing the seal is a deal.
