saw a pretty nasty RR VIII last night on my way to the hooterz. it was very clean, had some bronze rims, lip, nice drop, exhaust, who knows what else...then i saw 2 WW VIII's this morning coming to work.

as far as an update, I talked to a lawyer last week, and getting my car back is no problem seeing as it was apparently "wrongfully seized" because the douche-bag officer didnt wanna do his job the right way as he was getting off shift. On another good note about the car, there is a good chance I may get it back WITHOUT paying storage/transpo fees to the company that towed it (go ahead and let them not have put it on a flatbed either...). I had a good friend of mine following that night, about 300m behind me (at the most) who was pretty much completely sober, who said he did not see me weaving at all, what-so-ever, at any point. He said is willing to testify to that and that i was not speeding, all my lights were working, I was using proper signals, etc. etc...I told my lawyer about this and he wanted to speak to him so my buddy went down friday with me and talked to him, so we will see where that gets us. This is also looking like it's going to be alot cheaper than I had originally anticipated, especially if this "no storage and transpo fees" works out. so anyways, thats where I am at as of today. I obviously had to take the substance abuse assessment per NC law, and still have to assign myself for the 16 hour program, again per NC law. looking at a year without a license, but will get a conditional license after I get back to Ohio.

The sh***iest part of all of this, I was about a C**t hair away from re-enlisting to go down to MacDill AFB but now that cant happen, so as far as the Marine Corps is concerned, Im poppin smoke...I will go home and go to the reserves with 3/25 or possibly 19SFG in the NG. well see. I know an understand that I got myself into this situation, and that I have to accept the consequences of my actions, BUT I know about 4 people, personally, who have had this same crap swept under the rug and forgot about. one of which was a senior SNCO who hit an 85 yr old lady going down 17. the other ones I know are possibly the biggest s**t-bags I know who have never had any intentions of continuing a career in the Marines or any part of the military for that fact, and they just forget about it. Just shows me that the people I have to answer to are a bunch of POG f***s that dont give a damn about me--fine, ill get out and can go somewhere where they do....

Another s****y part: the office I work in, my chain of command so to speak, consists of my "platoon sergeant" if you will- a MSgt and my "platoon commander"- a LtCol. and above them 2 more LtCol's and 2 full birds, and one bad a$$ MGySgt that all dont want this crap to go on and want to see me re-enlist, but I have to answer to some POG 1stSgt and a Major from HQ Bn, so their hands a kindda tied, i dont know what kind of pull they will have with the decision, if any at all...yay
Again, I know this is my fault and there is no one else to blame but myself, but damn....

sh*t......they delivered it with signature required....of course they tried to deliver it at 12:50 this afternoon....(you know when most people are home ) I don't know how the hell i'm going to get it now.....I called the fedex number and you can't go pick it up....wtf....

 

Looks like you are going to have to use up that day off you still have. That blows.

Either day sounds good to me. Ran into Andrew on my road and he stopped by the house. Played with my MIVEC timing and got my stuff almost sounding like Nick's.
