I'm looking at some potential places to let build a VIII 2.3L stroker for me. I'm located in central Alabama and was looking for somewhere close, yet very reliable.

Q, yeah, burd is crazy though, he says he's gotten outta the 'performance thing' as he puts it. He just wants to put boom boom systems in 16 y/o olds cars with tons of money.

yea I know Burd is a nut case but he does know Everyone there is to know, he's good at putting people in touch with each other. I've known him a long time. You've got tons of choices in the southeast, many great builders but I would be willing to bet there is a shop local that can do the machine work as good as anyone else can. maybe send the head out tp get it ported to someone with lots of 4g63 knowledge but the bottom end is a bottom end. Are you gonna go crazy and do it all out or what are your plans?

 

Not planning on a crazy build. Just want a low-mid priced stroker that will spool a turbo a lil faster and provide peace of mind with forged internals.

 

What size turbo r u planning on running?
