Man I hate to spam like this, but I got laid off 8/1/03. I've been trying to get my resume out on as many potential jobs as I can find. Found a couple of security engineer gigs out on computerjobs, one with choice point and another through a staffing company for a comp. that opening a data center in alpharetta. have not heard back on either yet and the market is still a bit dry.

Anyway if any of you evo or lancer folks works for a company that is looking for a security engineer (or something similar) please pm me and I'll forward on my resume. Just think how much *** it would kick to have two evo's in the same office

I got a six week package that kicks in on the 15th. I'm not gonna do anything desperate just yet. I'm thinking of trying to sell come cars (like at carmax) in the mean time since my biggest complaint has always been lack of general automotive knowledge on the salesmans part. I'm sure I could at least sell some evo's

 

It's hard out there right now. Check this book out called "How to knock'em dead" it's a interviewing book. I know you are saying I don't need that. I can tell you this I had *3* GOOD job offers 3 weeks after reading and following the book. Good luck!

 

I think i've got an old list of recruiters that u may be able to contact i was laid of 12-31-02 and didnt find work til july but i didnt have an evo car payment LOL but if i find the list when i get home this evening i'll repost here and get your email address and fwd it to you it may help. OH and remember to update your website every day even if you dont change anything cause it'll keep your resume at the top of the search list.. you may already know but just a helpful note

 

Yeah, IT field is definately one of the worst fields to be involved with.

Where exactly are you located? My company was looking for a security guy for the IT dept. My company is located in Marietta.

What is your experince level? How about a online resume?
