Forget Flying, I love driving ... I'm always on a plane... I have to see if I can find a trailer of some sort to trailer my car over there.... Does anyone in the Orlando area have any idea what the cost is to get a Uhaul or rent a trailer from someone for the event? I haven't even started looking for one and I can imagine it's an expensive thing to do ........ Plus gas....

 

I know one thing though, the UHAUL trailers are a BEEOTCH to load an EVO on. I'd see if I could find one of the locals down there with a better trailer or something.

Just going it's an oil change... My car only has 16,000 miles now... I hate adding miles to her But if I have to, I hope there's some where to wash it in Ohio... Anyone know of a place up there?

No there is no place to wash a car up there cause ther is no running water and it is in the middle of nowhere!!
There are several car wash places up there.

 

I'll be staying at the Best Western in Norwalk... I'll be there from the 14th-18th
I'll spray my car with some cooking oil, so it's going to be easier to wash the bugs off

 

I will be leaving Orlando on Wednesday the 13th. I have my hotel reserved at the Best Western, my check in is on the 14th.

I will be trailing my car (Sorry, it was too much for me to bare having to drive with my car to Ohio. Going to Orlando and Miami, my ears wouldn't stop ringing because of the exhaust... It's something to still be hearing your car at 5,000 RPM's 30 minutes after you finished driving. Plus, mileage on my baby)
I will be checking out on the 17th, so if anyone is planning on being there or driving up around those days can go ahead and convoy with me. I don't know what route I'm going to take, but I'm most likely going to let the Garmen do all the talking .

 

krista and i are flying in on fri, the 16th around noon-ish and flying out on monday...we'll be staying with my cousin in cleveland...hopefully we'll get to rent an eclipse or something mitsu!
