There's actually a good bit driving up there this year again. We're all just leaving at different times.

Lunarfx, you're right. There does seem to be alot more buzz about the Shootout this year than there has been in the past. I know the Florida peeps roll deep! But the SC folks, well, that's another story altogether....

Man, there's like 40 DSMr's lined up to go to the SC Meet next weekend in Greenville and about 10 of them are driving to the Shootout as well, that aren't registered on here. You guys have a handful!

That's cool. But I was speaking more of the EVO population. Hopefully we all get a chance to meet sometime either while you guys are here in SC or in Ohio.

I believe the EVO population in the Carolina region are pretty formidable and know Scott from TTP Engineering has many tuned EVO's up there, as well as John Estrada from JESTR Tuning. Are you sure you're looking in the right hot spots? How do I know all this stuff and I live in Florida? Hope you make the drive up to the SC Meet next weekend with Robin. She's the bestessest.

LOL! Dude, I mean the SC population. The NC population seems thick too. If you take a look at our SC thread on here it's by far one of the smallest because by and large it's really only 4 or 5 people that post on there. It's like that as well trying to meet people here. Some show up, most don't. And it's typically the same folks that we see. We joke about it all the time in our thread. I'm not sure if I'll make it to Greenville or not though.

And as far as Robin goes...well... she's aiight I guess!!

Hahaha...that's funny. Well, there's got to be more of you in SC! Hell, I know of a couple who recently joined DSMPurity, and a IX MR in N. Charleston that I'm trying to convince in going to the SC EVO/DSM Meet. Roll up there with us so you can meet a lot of the people also going to the Shootout next month! You can't be but an hour or so from there, and I'm coming all the way from Florida!

Yeah it's about an hour and a half drive. Not bad at all. Trust me, I've crisscrossed this state in one night several times in the past. Nothing but a drive to me. Just have to see if my schedule will allow it. Otherwise, I'm down for it.

I dropped my car off @ Buschur's yesterday and the gas wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. $40 or so to fill up from a quarter of a tank. Now that's without doing a lot of WOT pulls out there, but keeping it around 75-80 the whole way. Filled up twice. Now that's from SC, but it might give some of you an idea of what the gas prices are now. Let's just hope they don't go up alot more by the Shootout. I will say this...try to avoid NC for gas right now...crazy expensive along I77.
