I'm no photographer but I bought my wife that same model for christmas and it works great! Takes awesome pics and low light pics is where I saw the biggest improvement from my regular caveman camera. I'd recommend it but anything is better than dipping photo paper in a red room and making your own pictures caveman style lol.
