Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
sup fellas! new member here, glad to see there's a RDU meet! btw any good reputable tuners in our area? I need a non-wot fuel map and timing tune for city/hwy. Always open to suggestions or advice. Thanks!
Some of the members on boards do the Cars N Coffee meet at Brier Creek the first Saturday of every month. Lots of cars from all makes attend. A few Italians, Porsches, BMWs, etc. If you look back a page or two you'll see the pic of the Evo's in a row at the event. My only problem with the event is that it isn't long enough.

A few posts ago Rodney mentioned the Grill57 meet. I haven't been to one, but I want to check it out. I'm going to try to stop by to this one but I may not make it. If Rodney will tell me what time he is going to be out there I'll know more.

Anyway, welcome, looking forward to meeting you. Post a pic of your OB X!
Grill57 Cruise-in this Saturday! Garner, NC
This Cruise-in is pretty cool there are lot interesting cars show up and something different cruising in all during the event. Some people get there a little after noon. 2:30 is usually a good time. It continues onto about 8pm or so with over a 150 or so cars.

I might be able to cruise over, depends on the timing.
Welcome! These are a great bunch of owners here. You'll probably get some recommendations towards Force Fed and Spec Ops. I'm still trying to get my IX together before getting tuned so I can't speak from personal experience, yet, but I'd talk to both as they are right down the road in Fayetteville.

Thanks man! I've been to the Cars N Coffee in Brier Creek before and yeah that's pretty cool. Thanks for the suggestions on the tuners, definitely going to do that soon. Have to detail her but here's a quick pic:

So far I've just been researching my butt off trying to get up to speed lol. I always welcome advice/recommendations!
welcome to the evo family lol. We meet up about once a month at least at random events/meets and the occaisional trip somewhere. Are you on evoxforums too? if so there is a local thread you can find if you search on "cacalac's" although both forums usually get updated with meetup info. There is a forcefed event in fayetteville this thurs but I know a lot of the raleigh peeps wont be able to make it due to it being a work night (myself included unfortunately). If you have any questions about the car or mods or whatever feel free to ask. We're pretty easy going open minded people.
