Hey, great seeing everybody who came out to the strip today. Too bad the weather couldn't have turned out better but there were def. some nasty cars out there. Thanks again for the ride Dan, I got in my car for the ride home and it felt like I was driving a G-35 or something... So slow!
haha 90 MPH all day!
Great seeing some of you guys today. There were some nasty cars down in Fayettenam. I'll post up some pics and videos in a bit.
Rodney - Looking spotless as usual!

First, it was great seeing everyone and hanging out today. It was nice to meet some new folks and hang out with some old friends I hadn't seen in a while.
Ron - The M3 was looking nice and the exhaust sounded nice too.
For those that couldn't make it, here's a video of the final "championship" run between the purple monster DSM and STM's "ricer":

Emery actually redlighted so the DSM took the win with a 9.7x I believe (the IX ran a 9.56 I think).
The craziest part of the entire afternoon was this purpose built drag car (appeared to maybe be some sort of Datsun shell) that damn near flipped, then damn near hit the wall, only to have driver miraculously save it. Sadly, I didn't get it on video. I'm keeping an eye on youtube because I'm sure someone had to have got it on video though.
I think it's fair to say that this car was the star of the event because everyone was talking about it:

Fortune Auto's RX7 with a 2jz swap. Still needs tuned though so it wasn't running that great.

So it looks like Justin is trying to get an end of the year meet organized probably on December 10th in either Cary or Capital Blvd. Is everyone around and available then? I know the Fayetteville crew doesn't want to drive all the way up here for none of the Raleigh crew to show. We haven't had a meet up here with the Fayetteville crew in a while so it would be nice to catch up w/ everyone. Who's available???

Working as usual. Absolutely ZERO chance I can make it.
