Daniel, we still trying man. We got tricked into setting up a dyno day next weekend here since it has still been warm. If that doesnt work for you guys i would still love to get up to raleigh for a meet for old times sake.

A dyno day this coming weekend (10th)? What time? I'd probably be down for that. Wouldn't mind throwing the car back on the dyno and see what it puts down with some cooler temps

I have no need to put a stock Evo on the dyno, but I'd probably be down for a local meet this weekend...

A few pictures from this past weeks Cars & Coffee at Brier Creek... Surprisingly there were probably nearly 160 or so cars there. About 10:30 or so they did a toy run to apex to donate a toy to the Durham Rescue Mission. And no, I think any cars were donated.

I'm game for a meet if there's enough interest. I think I may be getting up with Jason Sunday to black out my headlights

What's up guys, I hope all is well... I know it's been a while since I've showed up here. My evo is hurtin and I figured i should ask you guys before i went and did something stupid. The car may be showing some of it's age lately, the sunroof started making weird noises and stopped working last week. I figured i'd take it to the stealership and get it fixed this week, but the bigger issue is my clutch.

It's slipping baaaaad all of a sudden and i need a replacement soon. I started leaning torwards the ACT HDSS as a replacement for my stocker clutch (which lasted 48k) and then i started reading all this weird **** about that clutch locking up when shifting at high RPMs. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a good clutch replacement or any experiences you could share. My car is pretty much stock but I do DRIVE it though... also, do you guys have any suggestions for what shop I could get to do the work? Thanks!

Get with Justin @ Force-fed performance about the new Competition single's. I tested the prototype in my car and I absolutely love it! I beat on that thing HARD. like over a dozen launches the first weekend ( 2 track days ) and it worked flawless.

Not sure about the sunroof though. Good Luck

Robert - Good to hear from you. Hope all is well (aside from noisy sunroof). I think it would be worth shooting Justin a message about what clutch he may suggest. I know he was testing the Competition clutches, but he may be able to point you towards a clutch for daily duty even if you don't like the Comp clutches.

You gotta make it out to a meet soon!

Cool, just sent Justin a pm for his expert opinion. I just need a clutch that can handle a bit of aggressive daily driving and an occasional autocross, but that my wife can easily drive too. I'm also considering getting a new flywheel too while i'm in there. I need to do something about this clutch quick, the car is almost un-drivable. The rpms go up and the car doesn't move, it's the weirdest feeling. I'm having a really hard time with hills!

It would be awesome to make it out to a meet. It seems i barely have enough time to even wash the car nowadays. Justin's sent me a few invites on FB lately and i still haven't been able to make it to a meet for some BS reason or another...
