We should get something going this spring/summer. But id like it to be closer to central alabama. Huntsville is quite a drive, something like Birmingham would be ok for me. Dont know how many L.A. evos we have here.

FYI. I took the evo to the track this past Friday night to get some test runs in and i'm not too happy about the results: 12.03@114mph was the best time. The track that night was awful to start off, I had just bought these b.s. tires that killed my traction, my clutch was slipping terribly, annnnd my tuner wasn't there to help tweak the ecu. The car is easily a low 11 car, but i guess i should be happy that the car didn't break with my deteriorating motor mounts and cv joints

id be happy to run a low 12 for the first time out with the evo.

 

Hows you car running? have you been to MMP yet?

 

its decent, needs more tuning time but everytime i load a map on my ems it freezes. i have still yet to find a solution for it. and i have not taken the evo to mmp yet.

 

are you saying when you upload a map to the EMS, or try and download it?

 

when you first connect to the ecm and load the map. it freezes before you can do anything

 

yeah that was aggravating. More sun learnin' this week. Clusters. woohoo.

 

hrm.... are you using a USB -> serial converter bychance?

 

it start hosing up after I saved the map and went to double check it. from that point forward, connecting to the ecu would hose up the program.

 

hrm... time to uninstall/reinstall
