I will soon be trading in the loaner Integra back for my Evo.

Just an update for anyone that knows about what I've been up to with my HVAC and dashboard project. Everything is going back into the car this weekend along with a few improvements (radio relocate, gauges)

Only took me 4 months...

 

Kenny is going to have an evo head to work on here shortly as well :-P

btw, just upgraded my wife from her ghettosled 2001 Grand Prix GT to some ballerskates:



also, anyone want to play "guess that plug"? I'm trying to figure out if I can ditch this plug:




It's on the engine harness inside the cabin. For placement reference, those three plugs are the ones that plug in right above the airbag brain.

 

i down graded to a honda also.. err well.. its a new addition.. picked up a 91 crx si last week, got it for cheap, doesnt run, and ill be droppin a vrc b20 in it in 3 weeks, just waitin for my buddy to take it out of his honda.. its gunna turn into a long term, major, project for me and my buddy, we have wanted to do a project car together for a long time now.. once its rollin, ill be autocrossing it untill hes back in town for us to start pieceing it back together how we want it.

 

If anyone is trying to sell there honda let me know. I have been looking for a daily driver beater. I might just buy a used bike, pm me if you have either for sale.


I'm with kenny on the evo, I dont have nothing new to post. Aem still being ****ty and I havent bought new wheels yet.

 

I *should* be working on the th350 swap for the volvo. I'll take the transmission over to atco tomorrow and let em go over it again, make sure its good to go. Will be nice to have a good stall and a decent transmission finally :-D

 

hopefully the burrs I ordered monday afternoon get here today or tomorrow. got a ****load of em, should allow for more rapid port cleaning (you know, having the right tools and all for the job).

 

ah, and to add insult to further injury, my phone just ****ed me in the middle of an interview. I love it. 3 bars, crystal clear inbound, underwater outbound. reboot the phone, no change. switch service (edge/3g), it magically 'fixes' itself.

well im in atl and just did 4 days of manual trans rebuilding. great refresher course but ill never see one in the shop. might try to do a evo rebuild myself here.

evo content: WFP dropped off his head and intake. I'll have some baseline numbers on the heebspeed flowbench here in a few days. gotta build a bore adapter first, and come up with something to open the valves.

 

wewt! sorry bout not finding the HG, I know it would have been easier to mock it up. I thought you'd be able to open the valves just with the camshaft? if I knew you needed em open I woulda taken em out, my bad man.
