A buddy of mine will be having a get together the evening before IFO (Donnie, he's got a turbo celica supra-well, a couple. one is red, one is black; he did the burnout in the lexus in november... anyway), its an open invitation to pretty much anyone. Details aren't available yet but I would speculate bring something to throw on the grille and BYOB.

If anyone needs a place to crash I do have a guest bedroom (single, but extra carpet space eh) and a hide-a-queen in the den (and I'm conveniently located less than two miles from MMP!), you'll definitely need to pm me ahead of time regarding that though.

I hope to see the rest of you guys on the 16th, preferably with no BHG's this year. I'm out of spare front diffs so I won't be racing the evo, but I'll be out there. And if you can't deal with that.. meh, your loss.

 

Sounds good, Ill be having the Evo Zymol'ed (dunno how to put it) but its suppose to be real nice. My car will be setup at a booth at IFO for a good friends detailing service. If anyone else would like to show their car and have a professional detail job done I think he is looking for another car. By the way my car is NOT a SHOW car or fast by any means. Hope to see everyone out there .

 

For those who know me, I've moved back to Mobile... I got this crazy, insane, wicked offer from a local steel mill and I couldn't resist the "hauling of thy ***" to relocate. It seems like you guys have been having such a great time on this site with all the B.S. talk and all. The import scene is pretty heavy down here and by the looks of things and word of mouth I have the fastest Evo, and by NO means am I bragging, in town. Everyone meets up in the center of town at Bruno's and it's always a good turn-out with all types of cars. I should be at IFO with a stronger, faster, and more aggressive Evo this year... hope to see "some" of you there.

I'll be floating around at IFO somewhere. Workin' getting ready for the wedding, doing job interviews, the whole nine yards. Surprised I've found time to do anything at all to any of my cars lately. Is the new job with Thissen-Krupp?

I'll likely be dragged down to IFO again this year, but Cesar will be driving his own car I think. He's wanting to borrow my race wheels/tires since his new 18s are slowing him down about 4 mph. lol. He said something about me driving a GTR down there for him to try and sell ... we'll see.

Oh, aside, I might get my clutch ordered soon! Hooray!

Spec Stage 3 (sprung 6-puck). Spec is local and I've driven this clutch and really like it. Tq capacity is right where I want it and it's a lighter assembly to boot.

Hopefully. We've had this discussion, haven't we? Cesar's car is doing great with this clutch ... he's had no issues at all.

 

yeah, I think its been mentioned in the past. Not hatin' (well not too much based on my own experiences), just a general hope you have better luck than I have, that's all.

The one I went with has apparently had all sorts of issues in its continuing development, at least in the evo world.

 

What are the official date/dates for IFO. I have no interest in racing, but I would like to come check it out. I dont know if Sara and C will want to go, but maybe we can get at least a few evos coming from our direction.

 

it's may 16th (sunday week) @ MMP. everything else is extra curricular.

 

Im assuming since its on sunday this will be a day time event?
